Don't need no designer tags

 So believe it or not but lately my shopping has been going on at Walmart! I am not ashamed of it either! They are a great buy and probably my favorite pieces in my closet right now!

 I have gotten 4 maxi dresses $15 each there and I have gotten the most compliments on them! Also I have bought $7 sandals there too!

The dresses are beautiful! One is Pink and Black chevron , one is Black and White Chevron, one is tan and black chevron and one is tropical colors!

They also have $12 maxi skirts and they are adorable as well!

I just love maxi skirts and maxi dresses they are so comfortable and make such a cute casual outfit or a dressy outfit!

Just adding different  accessorizes you can change your whole look! A fedora hat, denim vest, belt, scarf, and jewelry!

Fashion Friday You know you love me

Spotted Blake Lively wearing this cute simple outfit that I want to help you recreate for your Fashion Friday! This post also falls into the Flash Back Friday category as well, because I used to watch Gossip Girl every Tuesday night loving Blake Lively's character Serena Van Der Woodson. Ahh the memories! I was hooked on that show just like I am hooked on Pretty Little Liars and well if you loved Gossip Girl you will love Pretty Little Liars as well! 

Anyway, This outfit is simple and yet such a light, flowy one for those upcoming summer days! I have actually worn my own look a like outfit and get compliments on it all the time. for accessories when wearing this outfit I usually just keep it simple with gold tones or silver. Which every pieces I choose! My hair I wear down with a little curl, wave, or just straight.

Sometimes you just gotta getaway!

Hey Everyone! sorry I haven't been posting much but I went out of town and then I have been busy at night with it being Dance recital week! I am beyond exhausted! Anyway! Kris and I went with a group of our friends to Nags Head NC. for Memorial day! I was not excited about the idea at first but after a couple of bad days last week... going to the beach sounded perfect!


The Beach was perfect! we saw dolphins jumping and pelicans swooping down all in a line! The days were perfect on the beach not too hot and not too cold! the ocean water was freezing but that didn't bother me I don't get in the ocean just my feet do and they did with the tide coming up! Kris and I had a great time and would love to make that trip again!

Fashion Friday!

Whoot whoot! It's Friday! Happy Friday! Just wanted to let you in on the new pieces I have added to my closets!  First from Mark.  I ordered an outfit, handbag, and wedges! they haven't arrived yet I'm hoping today but I think they will be here tomorrow! I love all the colors and I'm such a sucker for Chevron! I though the top would get worn with those shorts as well as maxi skirts and other colorful shorts I have! The wedges they could be worn with any of my dresses honestly! The shorts have awesome colors! I can't wait to wear them! The handbag! HOW CUTE!!!! I can't wait!

Hey everyone! I am sorry I haven't been able to post! My WiFi was down and had to switch cable companies so all good now!!! I have so many things to blog about now! The Adventures of Ducky and Elmo

Hello! Happy Thursday! Now people let me tell ya bout my best friend... She has been a little down this week so I decided to make a post just about her and it falls in with Throw Back Thursday because some of the pictures I am posting are some throwbacks. 

Natalie and I have been friends close to 6 years now. I met her 7 years ago at my job. She has now moved on to a high tech job so now I can no longer page for her to come help me with the paper towels at work. They are tough to get the cardboard out of but it was never a problem for her. 

Anyway, we have gotten closer as the years have gone on even with her leaving me at work. She has always been one I can call if I ever needed to vent or needed a friend. She's awesome! That is the truth for sure I have 4 times pop right in my mind where I called her and she was there for me right away! She was also the only best friend I have ever had watch me dance in a dance recital! That makes me very lucky and blessed. We have had our ups and downs like every friendship does but still no matter how long life keeps us busy we can always talk and be right back to where we were laughing and singing as we dance to our favorite songs. 

We would have the best times going downtown together dancing! we had our own playlists every weekend that we would play to pump us up for the nights. We never wore the same outfits because of course we would get pictured and of course they would go on Facebook! 

We have done so many awesome things together throughout the years. A couple memories that stand out are getting attacked by Ladybugs at the beach, learning that Buffalo Wild Wings does have mini corn dogs, finding out that dancing "is all in de hips", and that there are languages out there that we never even knew about!

So here's to one of my Best Friends...... I love you and SMILE!!!
