How are you doing?

Over the weekend I tried a new eye look.  Thanks to the inspiration from my shirt I wore a grey and pink plaid.

Yes, I got my inspiration from a shirt!

I am quite proud!

Using Palette 2 color Hopeless.... then using the blush Sweet.... doing the same idea I did with the Rose Gold look.

Don't forget to add the 3D fiber mascara to get a perfect finish!

There's so much you can do with these products its amazing! If I say I don't have any make up I should seriously get smacked upside my head!

Hey!

So Sorry I didn't post yesterday! 

I have to tell you about my new favorite!

You know I LOVE lip stain..... Well, I added the color Savvy Lipstain to my collection... Look how awesome it looks.... I would have never added Purple to my lip color choice.... but here I am rocking it!

Can I say I absolutely LOVE lip stain?  I never have to reapply during the work day or have to worry that i'm going to talk to someone important and have lip color on my teeth!

This picture was taken after my dinner..... I applied Savvy at 6:40 am and look at 9:30 pm I still have great lip coverage!

Make up + Glasses = Geek Chic!

Hello!!! 

Good Morning!!!  

I always feel lazy looking wearing my glasses because for years now I have only worn them when I am about to go to sleep or when I am being lazy on the weekends not going anywhere... sometimes it's nice to give my eyes a break from my contacts and with the new glasses I got.....Glasses Post  

I shouldn't feel bad for wearing them! 

There are some that feel their glasses will hide the makeup and not be worth the time and effort.

Well have no fear.... Your favorite Blonde Fashion Happy girl is here to help!!

Now wearing makeup with glasses can happen....... even though my sister is one that says it can't... I have had to teach her so much in the fashion world!

Here are a few tips I found, tried, and do when wearing makeup with glasses.

- IT'S A CRIME NOT TO PRIME -

I have told you about Primer before in this Post  but.....

Using Primer on the bridge of your nose and it will help keep your glasses from slipping.

 When applying foundation, let the bridge of your nose be the last place you get so there won't be as much applied there to have your glasses get  all "gooped up" to.  

- SKIP THE HEAVY EYE SHADOWS AND DARK LINERS-

Dark Colors can tend to darker your eyes and Glasses already cast a natural shadow on your eyes

 Remember, the basic idea is to bring light and focus to your gorgeous eyes!

 I haven't been wearing eyeliner or mascara on my lower lash line.... So that will be a plus when wearing my glasses because it helps make them look open and bright. 

 Wear Dark eye liner on the top lid and colored liner or none on the bottom lid. It will make your eyes stand out

Black wings can be a bit harsh when magnified by your glasses. 

You can always wear the Rose Gold look I shared with yall and that would be the perfect color!

- DEFINE YOUR EYE BROWS -  

I talked about eye brows the other day ! 

Your Glasses frame your face, but your eye brows frame your glasses. They can get hidden sometimes so a little brush of some brow liner and gel will do wonders

- CURL LASHES - 

You don't have to skip wearing the mascara! I know that is one of the things I hated! You blink and you get mascara smudge on your glasses or you hear your lashes tap your glasses! Annoying!!! Super-curled lashes are your answer!  Stick with a volumizing mascara to get your lashes thicker! Which using the Younique 3D Fiber Mascara I haven't had any of those issues wearing the mascara and my glasses!

I Just wanna be TRENDY!

Hey Everyone! 

Good Morning! 

Hope you are all doing well! 

So... I have to tell you about this conversation my friend and I had...... Well She just got back from Aruba and I was asking her for a Mexican night so we could talk about the trip and well be us. Cause, well... I have missed her. 

We got on the subject of me telling her how I have not been good and stuck with doing weight watchers and was feeling blah again so I know I need to do it and stop being this way. The she told me she was feeling Blah as well and was trying to be Trendy at work and really she was just feeling old!

I am older then her!

We then got to talking about all the trendy things we liked and our wants...

-Eyes-

 She said she wanted new Glasses and to start wearing them more and well You all know I felt the same way! ( New Glasses Post) 

-Hair-

 She said she was wanting pink hair and I said I did too just like a strand for Breast Cancer awareness month and yeah... kinda... almost...over. She is worried that her being in a wedding next weekend it would bother the bride that she has pink hair.

Well she now has pink hair! So points for TRENDY hair go to her!

 I told her I wanted a perm because lazy girl here would like to have curly hair more then the straight hair she has had her whole life and the hours of standing there it lasts maybe 2 hours max... Her reply was, " Umm... well they are coming back... but No don't do it."

Like fine.... Maybe I can try waving my hair the night before... Ugh

-Nails-

I told her I took off my acrylics using cotton balls soaked in nail polish remover wrapped tightly with Foil wile I watched an Episode of Game Of Thrones and it actually took my acrylics off nicely! 

We both agreed that we wanted to have our nails cool colors.... like Purple, Navy, and Burgundy, 

Also Black.... I love black nails! When they are short... Like right now I could rock the black nails....

-Boots-

She is wanting to go the Bootie route this year... Which I love and my girl can pull off any style!

The only bootie type look I do is the wedges!! Love love love these!!! I have black and tan and they go with everything!!! They help dress the outfits up a little and are so COMFY! 


Now I wear flat boots the most though and ....Well I just bought these boots from Payless!! Of course they had their buy one get one sale going on!

So I couldn't resist not getting these cause well I had tall brown boots but can only seem to find one boot....

Now I have no excuses!

-Sweaters-

We both agreed that we want to rock those off the shoulder sweaters with the lace bralettes!

Which we haven't been able to find!

I found sweaters on the Old Navy website and I had gotten the bralettes as gifts for my wedding/honeymoon....

So hopefully these will all work out to help me achieve that Trendy look.

-Accessories-

 I am all about the Blanket scarves... But what about when I am not wearing them or how about if I ever get to rock that sweater bralette trend... Choker! a thin black choker will  be wore for sure! Which thanks to Jane.com  I have already bought one! 

-Vests-

Well as for me.... I am in love with wearing my olive utility vest so much that I bought a khaki one  oh and ummm a Navy puffer vest.

Which with plaid shirts the vests are super cute!

I have wore my olive green vest with a navy stripe shirt and have received compliments galore.

One thing you can get in shape without exercising!

Hey Everyone!!

  Good Morning!!!

 I have so many things to tell you about and I just keep adding more and more and more!

Feel like I'm walking on sun shine!

Alright.... Now today I wanted to touch base on Eye Brows...

You know they are one thing you can get in shape without exercising!!

Now, I am no expert at all and actually just started getting my eye brows done a year ago. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and the makeup artist said, "oh girl, your eye brows... lay down." she began plucking them and well beautiful.

Now I go every so often to get them shaped from a wax. My eye brows don't grow like crazy.. Like I think I have gotten them done maybe twice this year so far. 

 I wanted to share with y'all my experience with one of the Brow liner and brow gel from Younique.

It's not something I do every day but it is something I see a difference while using.

My eye brows are super blonde and sometime especially in the summer... it almost looks like I don't have any eye brows.

So these products have helped with that and have polished my face perfectly for the Flawless look.

Now I have seen where girls use eye shadow their brow color to fill in their brows and have the same result.

I haven't tried that route because I feel like it won't look as natural as I have gotten with using the liner and gel.

I just don't want to look like someone you want to lick your finger and wipe my eye brows off! 

Also don't want it that noticeable if I don't do them one day!

Good Morning!!

Hello Hello Helloooooooo! 

 Whew girls! The fashionista is in me STRONG right now!!! 

Aren't you glad though? I mean I have been a blogging fool here lately!

I can hardly contain my excitement!!

I had mentioned before to you I was getting excited about taking Audrey to see the Christmas Lights? 

Well I got even more excited!

 I have a plan for what our coats will be and accessories!

Yes I am going to be that dog person getting her all fancy and myself as well. 

How could I not dress her up though... with the name like Audrey... she must "wear the name"

Our styling and profiling selves will be wearing Red and Leopard..... Growl!

That's right step aside.....

I actually purchased a coat I had be dying for!

 Red Ruffle Pea Coat.... From Jane.com I was so super excited!!! 

It is warm and I'm sure I probably look like a goofball wearing it but it's beautiful! 

So with the coat I plan on pair it with leopard hat and gloves

Audrey's cute little self is going to get this coat from Petsmart!!! 

I mean seriously HOW ADORABLE!!!

She has the colors going on and I plan on having her wear her red collar with Red Pointsetta collar accessory. Then she needs a leopard leash!

Thank you Amazon for helping with those... umm... well... necessities!  

They announced that the dog park at the outdoor mall I take Audrey to will be opening November 3!!

I see us making the trip to go back there very soon! 

Nice walk for us both and then watch her go nuts playing in the dog park!!

Can't wait for the activities!

The Jones household had a nice football day!

Our Game was Of course the Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions

The game could have been a lot better... especially since one of my favorite players... fumbled twice.... MATT JONES! UGH!

We had Buffalo Wings made here at home... thanks to them letting you buy their sauce and take it home.

They were so good! I'm very excited that I can have there here at home!

I can't see without my glasses!

Hello Everyone!

Happy Happy Happy Day!!!

How are you all doing?

Such a beautiful fall day here today!

 So....  I want to share with you something I did out of my comfort zone!

Thanks to the fashionista inside of me.... I ordered some new glasses from Eyebuydirect.com

Now... I wasn't in a real need of new glasses... more of a want... but then too my glasses weren't with my new prescription and starting to get a little tough to see more then normal driving at night if I wore them or reading the titles on Netflix 

Well I had been seeing these frames advertised on Pinterest and the more and more I saw them I just had to have them!

Now they weren't frames that were suggested for me and they actually suggested the look a like frames that I already have.  Which I do like my frames I have but I wanted a different option. 

See nothing wrong with them at all... just wanted... something new!

I ordered them and showed Kris... He said, " Ashley, They look like the glasses Supergirl wears." Could be why I liked them so much!

Then he proceeds to tell me that they remind him of the glasses his mom wore in the 80s

Great... so I am nervous now waiting for them to arrive....

I watched the order updates like a hawk which I will say it was totally cool to know what they were doing each day it was updated!

Quick but yummy!

Hey Hey Hey!!

I'm back again!!

Can you believe this? You have gotten a post every day this week! 

Craziness! 

Now, I have been so hooked to watching Game of Thrones... We are on season 5 episode 7.. well I have been trying to fix quick and fast dinners...

This one was one of my favorite things for my Mom to fix for me.

Subs!

My subs include Sub rolls, Pepperoni, Salami, Pepper Jack Cheese, Banana Peppers, and Italian dressing!

Serve with some chips or fries! 

Perfect for Football Games!

Tail gate kinda food!

I just put them in the oven on broil until the cheese melts.

I have also taken them to work and eaten them cold

Still YUMMY!

Audrey is showing how we feel after dinner and watching 3 episodes of Game of Thrones! 

Although this post didn't have much going on... I promise the ones coming up in the next couple of days are going to be so JAM PACKED it will make up for this " filler post"

Crayon melting on the pumpkin

Hello!!!! Good Morning!!! I feel a little awkward talking about Fall activities when it is going to be 87 degrees here today!  

I have some pretty cool news..... well to me....Wow.... this is exciting.......

 I have been getting emails asking all the details on Melting the crayons on the pumpkin! 

I shared this with everyone from my weekend with my niece..... Here

Well here you go! 

This is step by step on what we did!

Got all my things needed for the project:

-Pumpkin

-Glue

-Crayons

- White Spray Paint

-Hairdryer

-Tablecloth

And PATIENCE!!  

Actually took way longer then I expected! 

I painted the Pumpkin waiting for my niece to arrive and let it dry while we went to the mall. 

Now that we have a white pumpkin, I let my niece pick out the colors and we worked together on gluing them to the top of the pumpkin.

Then with the hair dryer start melting the crayons!
  

Here's how it turned out!
