July is over and done with.....

Happy Friday! whoot whoot! August 1st! July is all gone..... July is my favorite month so Boo Hiss to being all done with it. July was Fun though from Camping....Fireworks....Birthday celebrations...and Hanging with the friends! YAY! I am very excited to see what August will bring! Have a wonderful FRIDAY!!!

Monday morning blues....

Good morning.... ugh I can't believe it is time for me to go back to work.... I enjoyed my week off so much! I do miss my kids but......but....but...I liked not having a schedule.... oh well.... I hope you all have a wonderful day and keep a smile on your face it is the best accessory to wear!

Tea Party for 80...

Hello! Happy Saturday to you! Hope you all have enjoyed your day! I got a 2 hour massage at Massage Envy felt amazing! I added the aroma therapy to it with the smell of Rosemary and Mint.... Fabulous! Although when I got home, Kris told me I smelled like a grandpa.... Boys.... Anyway, I wanted to tell you and show you how the tea party for Deema turned out yesterday!!!! 

My mom out did herself like always everything was just beautiful! the colors of the day were lime green and pink. I ended up matching the decor :) My mom, sister, and I wore maxi dresses and our big sun hats. Deema was so thrilled to have "her girls" together for a little lunch for her. 

Even Deema wore a fancy hat....

The menu consisted of..... Sweet Tea, ham biscuts, watermelon, and two different kinds of pasta salad. 

Sugar also attended she is Bichon that will be 16 the end of this month

I wore a maxi dress and hat from Walmart, a bubble necklace from Rue 21, and a belt from Avon

I liked wearing the hat so much I kept it on after lunch while I soaked up the sun!

 Yesterday was such a sweet treat for all of us and I am so glad I got to be a part of it. My week off with my family was wonderful! I think now I am ready to start counting down for the cruise!

Good morning! Happy Friday!

Good morning! Happy Friday! I have had such a wonderful week off of work! I miss my kids but I have been able to relax and enjoy some things I have been missing in my life! I mostly laid out by my parents pool and soaked up the sun! felt so good! I also transformed our bedroom from feeling like we are sleeping in the wilderness to now comfy-happy sleeping. As well as made a new collage frame....which I love!!!

Last night, I made Kris watch Can't Buy Me Love since it was now on Netflix and it is my mom's all time favorite movie!  The movie is from 1987 ( great year) Patrick Dempsey starred in it. If you haven't watched it you totally should! 

It was funny to see the fashion from back then that is coming back in style now a days. Like I am waiting on what they call a "Fishing shirt" which is a long sleeve button up shirt that is monogrammed on the back to wear as a bathing suit cover up and yet... Cindy Mansini had on a button up shirt herself as a cover up...

I hope you all had a wonderful week! Today, is going to be another fun day for me! We are throwing my Deema a tea party birthday party she is going to be 80 years old on Monday! we ware wearing our big hats and dresses and then having a pool day! I am hoping to take lots of pictures because I can't wait to see how beautiful my mom has everything prepared and plus I can't wait to wear my big hat and dress! :) I feel as if I will be looking like I am from the Hamptons today! Let me get my princess wave ready!

Happy Birthday to me!

Good morning! It's been so nice waking up to birthday messages on facebook, instagram, and text messages on my phone. I took this week off to enjoy time with my parents as well as some me time! I plan on getting a 2 hour massage, a pedicure, and laying out by the pool! sometimes you just need some time to stop relax and take a moment to realize what all you have to be lucky for since the steady routine of life sometimes blocks you from remembering that.
