Ghouls just wanna have fun!

Happy Halloween!  The Monster Mash and Thriller will fill the radio waves today! whoot whoot!

Speaking of Thriller last night with my family we caught a Michael Jackson special that was airing last night. I felt as I did as a kid watching the Disney princesses.....oh I still look like that when I watch them today.... bad example.... well I felt like a kid in a candy shop watching Thriller. The dancing was so awesome I wanted to rewind it and watch it over again and dance along with them.

The poll of What's Your Fall Must-Have? I had going on on the blog ended last night with 50% of the votes saying scarves and 50% of the votes saying hoodies. For me, I would have to agree with scarves.

Scarves can do so much for you. They can help you dress up a plain outfit with a little splash of color. As well as give you a little extra warmth on those chilly fall days. There hasn't been many chilly fall days here in the area of Virginia I live in. I haven't worn mine as much as usually due to that.

Now the actually scarves you tie yourself are my favorite as a pose to the infinity scarves. I feel the infinity scarves are too big and just don't sit right on me. I only have one infinity scarf in my collection and it does get fluffy throughout the day on me. I just love the pattern though! While packing my closet to move into my boyfriend's, I counted that I have 15 of the tie yourself scarves..... I guess I do really like them.

I have seen that there are 20 different ways you can tie your scarf.....I think I only wear 2 of the ways.

Well that's all the rambling that comes to mind right now remember the only people you need in your life are the ones that treat you like a princess. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! If you have your little ones trick or treating be very careful and HAVE FUN!

Must....move...away...from...the....lap top.....

I think my lap top has a spell over me.... I keep sitting here staring at it as I am going to all these websites that I find myself shopping on!  I must say I love online shopping much more then shopping in a store. Every once in a while it is a must but I love all the options at one click from my finger tip. Plus there are such great online deals that occur that makes it so worth it. Also,  I am not a math person so it really excites me that I can put things I like "into my cart" and it totals it up for me. Helps me get as close to my budget as I can get.

Right now I'm playing that waiting game of I don't get paid for a few more days let's shop and by the time I make up my mind....check on the online deals....budget the bills....I'm ready to place an order. Whoot Whoot! Then sit back and wait for the brown truck to turn down the road on 2 wheels slam to a stop and drop off the goodies.

My wish list at the moment is consisting of a jacket that one of my co-workers wore in front of me the other day....working with other women is a plus when they have awesome styles that make me almost twitch because I must shop at that moment to get myself and rock it my own way.

I've seen one similar on Charlotte Russe and Love Culture. The jacket has sleeves and a hood like a hoodie but the front and back have a leather like vest look. I love it! The hoodie part makes it look warm but the leather look gives it some edge. To me, it looks comfy but ready to rock! I just see pairing my Combat boots with it.

I'm wanting a cross body bag. You know because I need another purse to add to my collection. I have of course searched for a Jessica Simpson collection one but haven't had much luck with that.

Still searching for an outfit to wear my wantable necklace with. I don't know where to really begin with it honestly. I just know it's got to be the perfect outfit so it is going to have to jump off the webpage at me or off the rack at me. I found some flats that match the teal very well so those are a thought

Now I do love shopping in the stores of  Ross, TJ MAXX, and Marshalls. It's so much fun to find designer items for much less.

Target is also a store that gets me when I shop in the store. Once I walk in the one near me if I can make it past the Washington Redskins merchandise I know it's not going to be such an expensive visit. At the moment I know I need to go back because they have some Washington Redskins slippers. I totally need of course!

Kohls is another store I like to go to. I mostly stock up on basics from them. Short sleeve tees, long sleeve tees, tanks, khakis for work, and jeans. I am in need of visiting the store for some long sleeve shirts.....in every color.

Sorry for my rambling, but hope y'all have a wonderful Tuesday!!! Feel free to comment below on any online deals you have found or any in store goodies you have just bought. Remember sharing is caring!

THE MONSTER MASH....was for sure a Graveyard SMASH!!!

Dance Xplosion by Michelle

Saturday night the competition team at the dance studio I work for put on a fundraiser. It was a Halloween party they called THE MONSTER MASH. It was open to all ages! They had food and drinks along with crafts, games, costume contest, and of course dancing for all ages to enjoy. As I walked through as Lady Thor, I felt like a celebrity. that wasn't because of my costume it was because they were so excited to see that I had come out to party with them. The best part for me was seeing some of my dancers in their costumes and having such a great time.  The worst part for me was sticking my hands in the "Touch and Feel boxes" I touched "bloody guts" I admit I did gag a little. I was told it was jelly and something else..... either way.... GROSS! The boxes were a cool thing to have because, of course, the kids loved laughing at me for all the faces I made as well as the owner Michelle.

The competition team, Michelle's Xplosives, put on an awesome party!! I can't wait for next years!! :)

My other favorite AVON NAIL ART is the Bows For You

We don't sweat... We SPARKLE!!!

Yesterday October 13th in Richmond, I participated in the Sparkle Me Wild 5k with one of my good friends Candice.  I suggest everyone do at least one Color 5k in your lifetime. Candice and I had so much fun we made our own team name it being "We Sparkle." Her mom was so sweet and made us shirts to wear in the race. The race started with you getting the chance to throw your color packets in the air or at your friends and it had "color stations" that made it even more fun. Each station gave you the chance to get more color by making "Color Angels", getting sprayed with more color, and just getting to roll around in the color! By entering the race Candice and I gave back to the fight against childhood obesity. Such a great cause to have so much fun getting all colored and sparkled up! At the end of your race you even got glittery medals! If you are interested in seeing if there is a Sparkle Me Wild 5K coming to a city near you visit :www.sparklemewild.com

Let's all be Chic in our Pink!!

Did you know that walking an hour a day could lower your Breast Cancer risk by 14%?  Many of us have had a family member, friend, or co worker that has been affected by the disease. Through research I found out that Breast cancer is a type of cancer where cells in the breast tissue divide and grow without normal control. The disease can occur in men and woman of all ages and 1.3 million people are diagnosed with it annually. They say that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. The exact cause of the disease is unknown, and it is said to be the second leading cause of death among women. At this time, there is no cure, but with the heightened awareness from many businesses and the NFL teams sporting pink on the field of early detection screenings and then the improvement of treatment methods has now given us a greater chance of survival then ever before.

I am proud to say that AVON is actually one of those businesses that raises awareness. In 1992 Avon set up their Breast Cancer Crusade foundation and began mobilizing the unique power of our global network of sales Representatives to sell Breast Cancer Crusade products that raise funds and awareness for the cause. Today, Avon is the leading corporate supporter of the breast cancer cause, having donated more than $780 million to breast cancer programs around the world over the last 20 years. Help raise funds and awareness for education, screening and diagnosis, access to treatment, support services, and scientific research by purchasing a Breast Cancer Crusade product. Not only does Avon have the Avon Foundation they also host Avon Walk for Breast Cancer which takes place in 8 cities across the country.

I have not be able to participate in one of the Avon walks. I would love to do one one weekend but I did however do the Susan G Komen Race For The Cure race in Richmond in May of 2012. That race was a lot of fun and made me feel really good about helping raise awareness for the cause.

So let's wear our pink instead of just on Wednesdays like "mean girls"everyday in the month of October. After you buy your pink ribbon items from Avon there is also another company called Just Jewelry that like Avon has Breast Cancer Awareness items and they donate 10% of every pink ribbon item to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

Please feel free to share and stories with me on walks you have done in effort to raise awareness for your area or of any businesses you know of that give back to the cause. If you would like to find more information out on Breast Cancer you can visit the websites that I found to be very helpful The National Breast Cancer Foundation, INC , Susan G. Komen of Central Va , Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

Fashion Inspirations

My first fashion inspiration would have to be Jessica Simpson . She always looks beautiful at any event she is a part of. Her clothes, hair, make-up, jewelry, handbags, and confidence always makes me look at her as a woman I want to be. I have been a fan of Jessica Simpson since I saw her first music video air. After that, like teenagers do, my bulletin board became filled with any and all pictures I found of her in magazines. Still out of habit I buy any and all magazines she's on the cover of. I mean of course it's going to be worth my money to read an article about her.  I even remember rushing home from my dance classes to watch her in her reality show. She still looked fantastic walking around her house in sweats!  So after reading all of that and seeing that I maybe a little obsessed with her you can imagine my excitement when I found out in 2009 she was releasing her own clothing line.

Jessica Simpson Collection is of course one of my favorites. I admit I spend hours on her website drooling over the clothes, accessories, shoes, and handbags that would look great in my own collection.

My second fashion inspiration would be Audrey Hepburn. After all, we do all have a little black dress in our closets because of this wonderful woman. The inspiration of her isn't for me from the clothes she wore but more so for the way she always carried herself as a lady.

She is featured in my collection of dvds as well as my wall decor in my room.
My third fashion inspiration is Lauren Conrad. I became a fan of hers from her reality shows. Seeing such a hard working woman a year older then me in such great clothes always made me excited. I admit she is one reason I shop at Kohls since they feature one of her clothing lines LC Lauren Conrad.

Those are just a few of my fashion inspirations  Please feel free to share yours with me.

Welcome To Blonde Fashion Happy!!!

Hello and Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Ashley. I am 26 years old and was born and raised in Virginia.  I've been selling AVON  for about a year now. I love getting to learn about the new products and talk about them as well as learn new make-up tips and share them with the great new people I have met along the way.  I am also a Pre-K teacher by day and a Dance Teacher by night. So you can say I kind of like children. I don't have any of my own yet and the thought of having my own kind of scares me. I can handle ages 3 and up but having an infant around that's a whole different story and EEK!

I have a close knit family with my parents as well as my older sister and her fiance. I fell in love a year ago with my boyfriend and his family. I can't wait to spend many more years with all of them.

I think that's about it....I wanted to start this blog because I recently became a fan of Jackie Giardina's blog. I had been following her on Instagram  for about 4 months. I was excited to see her wear the same Mark.girl products that I had fallen in love with from selling AVON. So I decided I wanted to try out this blog thing for myself. Thinking that it wouldn't be that hard I then came to my first issue. What do I name my blog? After a couple of days of thinking I decided. Blonde Fashion Happy.  Blonde for there's no doubt about me being a Blonde! Fashion for the simple fact that it's something I love. The Clothes, Jewelry, Handbags, Shoes, and other accessories excite me when they all come together and make that killer outfit. Happy well because within the last year I have become so happy with life. I have a new outlook on it by working as hard as I possibly can, enjoy every moment, look at all the positive things around me, and just to be thankful for it all. Also being in love feels so good! I am now dressed in LOVE head to toe and like Carrie Bradshaw said in the Sex and The City movie, "That's a label that never goes out of style."

Well that's a little about me.  I hope you stick around and become a follower to enjoy this blog along with me.
