I Don't Wanna Be......

Oh man hearing just those words sung...

The excitement that fills me!

I recently started watching the seasons of One Tree Hill that I never watched due to my boycotting days.... due to (spoiler alert)

Lucas, Peyton, and Sawyer leaving the show...

Not really sure what made me go back to watch the rest of the show.... 

ANYWAY..... I may still be mad about Lucas and Peyton... but umm The show is awesome!

(more spoilers)

I mean I am still watching the show going oh Lucas wouldn't have let that happen... or Hello Peyton would have totally been there!

Okay enough about that....

I think a couple has totally filled the Lucas and Peyton void though....

I love Clay and Quinn

Peyton was always my favorite but I have to say... Quinn might be my girl now!

I mean she sang a song about Toaster Pasteries!

Toaster pastry, it tastes so good and yummy. Toaster pastry, get into my tummy. Frosting doodle, on my strudel. And now I’m gonna eat you up!

I mean who wouldn't love her?!

Brooke Davis reminds me of Blair on Gossip Girl... I didn't like her in the beginning and then she became my favorite.... Brooke is my 3rd favorite at the moment!

She has made me cry a lot.

Also, I feel so silly for not realizing that Alex was country music singer Jana Kramer...

I think I had my hater shades on too tight cause I was all Team Brooke!

I apologize!

I start the last season tonight! I'm excited to see what happens and how the show ended.

One of my best friends and I would like to go tour Wilmington NC to see the different sights from the show.

Added to my bucket list!

Could I Be A Full Time Binge Watcher?

Good Morning!

Wouldn't you love to be able to have your retail therapy session covered by your insurance?

Get to be a Full Time binge watcher?

Yeah me too!

Lately I have felt like that's all I have been doing... the binge watching....

Which I love!

No commercials....

No waiting for the next episode.... unless you finish the season and there is more to come...

I am looking for a new show to binge watch and was wondering if you could help me?

My plan this weekend is to just chill....

So I am going to need a new show to help out with that!

Here's a list of everything I have binge watched within the last month.

Prison Break; Seasons 1-4 On Netflix and then the 3 new season episodes

I was so hooked and kept asking myself Why I hadn't watched the show when it was on regular TV back in the day? Michael and Lincoln are such a great team and well not that bad to look at.  I will say though it was hard for me to see Michael ( Wentworth Miller) not as the swim team member that turned into a fish on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. If any of you can remember that from so long ago. (Season 2 Episode 20 Titled Go Fish) Oh and Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) because well I see her as Rick's wife Lori on Walking Dead. The story though was so cool how it all played out! The 3 new episodes have made me very happy to see that the show hasn't changed!!

Grace and Frankie : (Season 3)

I never thought I could laugh so hard at "old ladies"! If you haven't watched this show it's a must. They live is such a beautiful house and are kinda of like the " odd couple" kinda of living.  You know one messy one proper. Anyway, in this season Grace and Frankie are trying to get their Vibrators on the market. Yep... you read right. Super funny! Definitely a must see! Not going to say any more because I don't want to spoil it for anyone!

13 Reasons Why : (Season 1)

This show has been posted on my news feeds in social media because of some many people watching it. This show is a REAL show.  the Real kind of feeling you get from watching This Is Us. It's a young girl in high school who shows you the 13 reasons as to why she committed suicide. Now it looked like normal school life.... its what happens. It was great to see it really shown what happens in schools now a days because it's true it is what was happening in middle school which is why I begged to Home school for high school. It does get a little gruesome because they show the girl committing suicide and They showed a rape took place. Not only was it just about the suicide they touched on how the one raping didn't think of himself as raping the girls. I feel like the show is a must see for all young boys and girls to show them this is what goes on... DON'T DO IT! Make the change!

Stranger Things : (Season 1)

I don't even know what to say about this show besides it was STRANGE! I liked it though! Some twists occurred which makes me ready to watch the next season when it comes out for sure. 

Big Little Lies : (Season 1)

I just finished this show! 7 episodes! This was one of my favorite show I have seen in a very long time! I mean the very first scene they show people dressed like Audrey Hepburn! How could it not be a Kick Butt Show! This show has such an AWESOME CAST! Which is what drew me to watch the show. Reese Witherspoon Who I have loved in so many movies... Legally Blonde...Sweet Home Alabama....Cruel Intentions....Four Christmases....This Means War...Walk The Line... and so on and so on..... Nicole Kidman who I'm really not a fan of... not just because she is married to Keith Urban my dilike for her was before he came into the picture....Shailene Woodley who is the lead in some of my favorite movies the Divergent movie series with Zoe Kravitz who is also on the show as well.... and Alexander Skarsgard which if any of you True Blood fans miss him as Eric... well Watch this show! The show had to me a kind of Pretty Little Liars feel to it so very much suggested a must watch for you PLL fans! Many Twists and turns on the show and I am so ready to see the next episode! The finale was one that was very vocal through! Mostly saying " I told you! I knew it!" Then with a " OMG! NO WAY!"  Must watch!

Oh also I watched Big Little Lies on the Fire Stick TV thing we have... I really don't know much about it to even explain what that is...

I married a nerd so... yeah...

Alright, so if any of you have any show suggestions that will top those.... Give them to me!

I smell SNOW!!

Good Morning!

Hello!

How are you?

The weather man said to expect Snow this weekend....

Bread shelves are already empty...

I asked Kris was there anything he wanted and he said, "No." 

I looked in our cabinets and saw.... we are pretty good on food and everything...

Strange...

Normally I am one of those crazy people buying up the store... 

I'm not going to this time...

So will it snow?

Do I even want Snow?

Who knows.. They are saying at least 2 inches...

and Maybe...

One of my favorite things about the snow now is to see Audrey go nuts playing in the snow.

So makes me wonder...

Just recently they released a new one, The OA.

The OA is a show of only 8 episodes and what an awesome show it is!

I have just started it so I am only one episode in....

 Such an amazing feeling I got watching it and yet a reminder to step back and think.

I felt like I was being taken on a journey and yet I was in a trance with the show!

I can't wait to watch the rest!

Hopefully Audrey will snuggle with me!

-  Keiko Agena, Who plays Lane, was 27 when the show premiered. That makes her six years younger than Lauren Graham who played Lorelai. Their Characters had a 16 year age difference!

- Scott Paterson , Who Plays Luke Danes, was actually a Baseball player before becoming an Actor

- Alexis Beldel and Milo Ventimiglia, Who play Rory and Jess actually dated off screen as well!

Pizza and Candy Gilmore girls

Hello!

Good Morning!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This post is all about FOOD!

Can you think about any more food?

Well for your Gilmore Girl Feast you still more stuff like......

Chinese or Pizza!

Right?

That was a main staple in the movie watching of the Gilmore Girls!

If you get Chinese make sure everyone can eat out of the container cause it's better in the container of course!

Now pizza, call one to be delivered, make your own, or you can make these little finger food ones!

I will say these don't make a lot but so good!

Crescent Roll Pizza Dippers

1 can of Crescent Rolls ( makes 8)

Mozzarella Cheese sticks (4 cut in half)

Pepperonis ( 2-3 on each crescent roll)

Follow the directions on crecent roll can

Place each ingredient on  each cut piece and roll up 

I like to serve these with Pizza sauce or Alfredo sauce... Totally from the jars... nothing fancy but gives a little bit of extra yumminess.

 My friend brought these over to one of my Christmas get togethers and they were a hit.

 Simple but yummy!

Now the Gilmore Girls always had loads of Candy with their movie nights...

I am not a candy fan myself but I would like to try this......

Twizzlers with a twist

Dry strawberries in the oven for 3 hours at 210 degrees. They taste like Twizzlers but are healthier for you!

Gilmore Girls Recipe for Coffee Cakes

Hey Hey Hey!

One more day Closer to the show!!!

Eek! The excitement is just building more and more and MORE!!!!!

I am really going all out for this Gilmore Girls return!

Have I mentioned my excitement for the return?

Now just what is something that is a MUST that you should have with the Gilmore Girls binge?

COFFEE! 

I read a fun fact that I wanted to share with you because well it put some things into perspective for me... just a little bit.. 

Drink Coffee like a Gilmore saying is definitely no walk in the park for sure... Now I understand why they always talked so freaking fast.. all the caffeine they drink!!! 

Did you know that 503 cups of coffee were consumed on the show? Holy Cow!

 Season one was the most caffeinated with 80 cups!

Alexis Bledel doesn't like coffee she drank soda..

Either way!! Holy Cow!!

 Am I right? 

Now you may not be able to drink coffee like a Gilmore.... So why not make a Coffee Mug Cake!

Still goes with the theme right? 

S'More Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

1/3 Cup of dry Fudge Brownie mix
1 Tablespoon of Fat Free Egg product
1 Tablespoon of Vegetable oil
1 Teaspoon of Water
2 Tablespoons of Mini Marsh Mellows
2 teaspoons of graham crackers
1 Teaspoon of mini semisweet chocolate chips


DIRECTIONS:

Spray bottom of microwaveable mug (12oz) with cooking spray.
In a small bowl combine brownie mix, egg product, vegetable oil, and water.
Spoon batter into mug
Microwave uncovered on High 40-50 seconds or until top is set and toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from microwave and top with Marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate chips. Let stand for about a minute to allow marsh mellows to soften. 

I have sometimes made it and just like iced the top of the cake with Marsh Mellow fluff you know for those impatient moments.... Tastes just the same and if you are wanting a chocolate fix... This is going to be your best friend!

Pop Tart Appetizer anyone?

Hello!

3 more days!!

How many times have you watched the trailers on Netflix?

Twice everyday right? 

I know I'm not the only one?

Anyway.....

Now Pop Tarts are a must for your Gilmore Girl party... why? Well duh, Lorelei sat them out as an appetizer for the Chilton study group Rory had.  

Now personally I would stick with the store bought ones... I am a sucker for the Chocolate Fudge Pop Tarts... No one better mess with those if I am on my Pop Tart kick... Me on Hangry Status is nothing compared to my Pop Tart love!

Well these Taco Pop Tarts are perfect Twist to make for Gilmore Girls or your Taco Tuesdays!!! 


Beef Taco Pop Tarts

Ingredients:

2 boxes of refrigerated pie crust (total of 4 pie crusts), at room temperature
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1/2 onion, Thinly sliced
1/2 pound of Ground Beef
1 Table Spoon of Taco Seasoning
1 cup of Cheddar cheese


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 F and line two baking sheets.
Working with one pie crust at a time, unroll onto working surface and cut into six rectangles. Repeat with remaining crusts.
(should make about 12 rectangles)

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil until hot .
Saute onion for 5 minutes. 
Add beef and cook completely through like you would when making tacos.  
Add Taco seasoning and combine well.
Remove from heat and let cool.

Place six pie crust rectangles on one of your baking sheets. 

Spoon Beef and Cheese on top.

Top each with a cut crust and gently press around the edges. Use fork to make pretty edges.
make a few incisions on top to help let steam escape.

Once all Pop Tarts are filled and topped and made to look pretty, Bake for 15-20 minutes. 

I would serve with some Sour Cream and/or Guacamole if you wanted to make it real Taco Tuesday style.

Good morning everyone!

Here is the next post to helping you throw The best Gilmore Girls Binge for the new show to come!!

 I know a little early to be discussing drinking... but... It's 5 o' clock somewhere and this has been the longest week and it's only TUESDAY...

 I got super excited though when I found this recipe!!! 

I am going to have to make this either for the girls to come over for the Gilmore Girls binge or for Me, Myself, and I to try. 

I mean how cool is it to try stuff from your favorite TV show?

Remember Rory's 21st Birthday party?!

Well Emily made her a signature drink for her party she threw her....

Called....

The Rory

1 oz Chilled Vodka

1.5-2 oz Pineapple Juice

0.5 oz grenadine

SHAKE!

and top with a float of champagne.

Add a cherry or lemon spiral for your garnish .

Now if you are like me... you are probably asking what does float of Champagne mean... Well you know how you learn something new everyday... well here you go...

Floating means to pour gently on top of the drink. Floating refers to the fact that you want the liquor to "Float" on top of the other ingredients. In this case you want the Champagne to float on top.

You also don't stir the drink after adding the float.

So of course it has to be a little complicated since well Emily picked it right?

I can't wait to make it and share with you my thoughts on it and I want to hear yours if you make it as well!!!

Now I was going to just do these posts on Tuesday... But I have found more recipes so.... Eek! There may have to be a Gilmore Girls Week to prep you for the Binge watching!

Good Morning!!!

How are you?!

Can you believe it's already November?

This year has really flown by!

On the way to work, the radio stations were talking about Christmas.... Well I am all about Christmas as well.... BUT.... I'm ready for BLACK FRIDAY!!! 

Now, I don't know about you but I won't be Black Friday shopping..... Never really have been shopping on Black Friday but I won't start this year... Because THE GILMORE GIRLS ARE BACK!!!!

You are going to want to get Netflix if you don't have it already!

Did you seen the Trailer?! Didn't you just smile from ear to ear with a few tears?!!!

November 25.... Can't come soon enough!!!

I will be watching at least one episode with my mom!

Then the binge watching will occur once I am home. 

 That show was our show. I have been watching it to give myself a refresher and gosh I have needed tissues.

Just makes me think about my mom and our relationship and how we have been Rory and Lorelei.

....sniffle sniffle....

Okay Next!

Now I just started the last season last night and I really don't think I watched the last season because I am not remembering anything....

Anyway....

Let's talk about the BOYS! 

I can't wait to see where Luke and Lorelei are at in their relationship!

Hopefully together!

The start of season 7 they aren't and like I said I don't remember any of that going on.... 

Now onto Rory......

I would be alright if Rory was with Dean.... I like Jess the most... but I hope she is not with Logan!

Ha Take that!

Happy Friday!!! I told you all that I would let you all know how my weigh in goes today and well I have lost 7 pounds since last Friday!  

How exciting! Remember my goal was 5 and I met the goal and got 2 extra! Whoot Whoot!

So now I would like to make Mondays my weigh in days..... I kinda like Feel good Friday though... So Let's just keep it Friday! haha

Kris cooked some Grilled Chicken on the grill last night and that was so good! 

I didn't do as well as I could have last week but I did do something right!

I am ready to get a bit more active this week. All I did last week was walk a little bit. I always park far away so I have to walk to get to the stores I am going to. 

Which It will be hard to become more active, with Orange Is The New Black new season available on Netflix!  I am so ready to check it out! The clock isn't moving fast enough here at work. I wonder what Piper gets her self into this season haha.

I am very close to Pink Status With Younique I played a game last night and got 3 orders from it! My leader gave me 2 thumbs up for creativity! Whoot Whoot!

Now tomorrow Kris and I have a wedding to attend.... It's a Cocktail attire wedding... I was dreading it at first until we went to Ross and I got a long black dress to wear! 

Now I am excited and Ready to go to this wedding! It's amazing what a dress can do...

You will never guess the Price though....... $15! 

It reminds me Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's. 

So Exciting! 

I will Take a picture of us for ya'll you see... As for now I have a picture of me in the dressing room that I took to show my Mom.  That picture doesn't really show off the dress too much so ya'll will just have to wait and see!

 Well I can't wait to show you all how awesome Kris and I look at the wedding!
