Did it all for the Potato Wedges!

It's so super cold here... brrr... 

Well I have to tell you this funny story...

Now, my friend and I got our Boston Terrier puppies from the same litter... 

We live like 3 mins away... talk everyday... not just about them but we will randomly ask those "is yours doing this? " questions.

Yesterday, I was sent a picture of 2 Boston puppies and her asking did I want to get another one for Christmas?

Umm... No thank you is what I said...

I know shocking!

But really... I'm super happy with my 2 fur babies and well maybe a human baby might be our next step...

Anyway... so with the cold and all we were saying how the Fur Babies weren't staying outside long and so on...

Next message I get says: Well my dream was just crushed... I just got a call from the store saying Rufus is sitting in the parking lot being fed Potato Wedges....

That has made me laugh so hard to just imagine this Cute Boston sitting and waiting for potato wedges to come his way!

I mean it may be cold but some warm potato wedges might be worth the walk in the cold! 

I have told her that Audrey and Rufus can't have a play date together... I don't want him to tell her about the store being so close and that a dream of hers can come true!!!

So I guess this is a reminder to hug your Fur Babies tight and keep them warm... cause in that 2 seconds you turn your back...you never know when a potato wedge might be calling their name!!!

Christmas Traditions

Good Morning!

Hey!

Hello!

How are you?!

I'm so sorry I disappeared on you guys!

I'm back and I have so much awesomeness to share!

Can you believe we have only 11 more sleeps until Christmas Morning?!

Where has the time gone?

I wanted to know what are your favorite traditions?

Have you started new ones this year?

Well, growing up my family and I had the Advent Calendar that was a mouse that you would move each day it got closer to Christmas...

That became very competitive on who moved the mouse the most... although it somehow never counted unless my Daddy was the one that moved it. 

Definitely a game I would like to pass down to my kids!

We also have our family Christmas Vacation movie viewing! We sit down as a family and watch the movie and laugh like it's the first time we have ever saw it!

Each year we add more to the night.... with snacks...decor....and outfits!

Again something I will do with my kids a s well!

Now as you remember I do have a Pug Christmas Light Party!  I told you all about that a few days ago.... you can click here to go back and read about that!

Now there is one that I have heard about that I would love to do with my kids... If I have them... haha 

 I heard where a family individually wrapped all their Kid friendly Christmas Movies and lets their child go open one of the movies and that is the movie they watch for their movie night!

How cool is that?

So what's something that you do with your family or friends?

Have you passed anything down to your own kids?

I truly believe this is why I love Christmas so much because there are just so many special things I have grown up doing.

Hello December!!!

Hey Hey Hey!

Good Morning!!

Happy December 1st!!!

Can you believe it is December? I mean didn't I just say  HOLY COW it's November? Wasn't I just getting married? 

WOW!!

Soooo... the Christmas music is playing.... the Christmas movies are ready to be viewed...

It can all happen now that we are all decorated!!!

I can take Audrey tonight to look at Christmas Lights cause we have ours up!

I actually updated our Christmas Decorations!!

Which I confess... I'm addicted to this Buffalo Check Plaid!!!

Our new tree! Which has colored lights because Kris insisted that it's not Christmas without colored lights... At first I was like ugh because I had a vision.... but I like it!

Now we don't have a fire place so I hang our stockings on our coffee table.

Whew...... What a week it has been and it's only Wednesday....

I love to bake cookies have my Christmas lights on with my fuzzy blanket and curl up and watch them. 

Gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling.

Friday Rattle Time

Hey everyone! Hope you had a fantastic Friday! I'm spending my night cuddled with Audrey which is a perfect way to end this week! Dealt with driving in the Snow and the kids acting as if there was a full moon or something the past few days! Whew! Craziness! 

I have to say I am very proud of myself. I tried a few styles that I am normally nervous about doing but I did and I felt great. I wore new accessories, that normally I would just day dream about and wish I could pull off. I rocked them! Then I also wore my hair a different way and I loved it! I will totally be trying it again! Also, It's been 2 days since I bought something from Jane.com! That website is awesome yet terrible for my fashion loving self!

                                              

Are you all getting ready for Super Bowl? I wish I was spending it with my family like last year but my dad is working so Kris and I invited friends over and most have said they already had plans and a few said they may show up. So what should I fix? I am all about party food its my favorite! Dips,Chips,and Pigs in Blanket my kinda thing! 

I am thinking that the Seahawks will win the game and honestly I don't care who does. Not a fan of either team. I am more excited about the food and commercials! 

Anyway, I need to go get some sleep Audrey has a vet appointment early tomorrow morning to get her next round of shots and get her nails trimmed.

Last appointment she weighed 2.4 pounds..... I'm thinking either 2.8 or 3.0 pounds this time! We shall see!

Tasty Tuesday: Chicken and Dumplings!!!!

Hello! Good Morning! Hope everyone slept well! 


I'm so excited that I found an easy recipe for Chicken and Dumplings! You know how I am on snow days I just like to cook and stay inside and watch movies or Netflix!! Well, with the slight coldness I have been dealing with this Fall, it made me a little worried. I also had a nightmare it snowed but it was all good I just needed to get back under the blanket. 

Anyway, I went searching on Pinterest  and I came across a pin that took me to this site Crowned Creations 

So I went to Walmart right away got all the ingredients and got to cooking! The recipe was so easy! Our meal was so delicious! I totally see this being a meal I will be cooking on our snow days and not be afraid to share with others! 

I served the Chicken and Dumplings with Garlic bread and Sweet Tea!

Good Morning! Happy Tuesday!  I have to tell you about what I just came across! This is so cute! I so want to recreate that outfit for myself but...they say we are getting more snow tonight and into tomorrow...I don't think my vest would be here in time...wah!

Good Morning! How are you today Beautiful? I would like to pat myself on the back here and  add a little check off my 14 in 14 list! Tuesday night, I tried to make a breakfast pizza and was not thrilled with it....to me it tasted like the breakfast toppings on bread.... fail in my book...needed a lot more cheese...and a whisk! Have you ever made a Breakfast pizza? What did you do?

I actually have cooked dinner every night this week! Go ME! Monday night I made my mom's Lasagna (that didn't quite taste like my mom's) but lets be honest Your mom always makes everything perfect!  Tuesday night was the breakfast pizza, and last night I made Baked Spaghetti!

We had snow days.... I was able to leave work early and then go into work late....It's nice to get those little breaks. Today is another but it's a normal day....blah haha Did you have a snow day? If so, What did you do?

Good Morning! It's Friday! I know everyone is so sad.... haha just kidding!  I hope you have a wonderful day! Anyone have anything exciting planned for this weekend? 

I have dance practice tomorrow and then dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory which I hope Penny is our waitress.... ( you know from Big Bang Theory)

Got a secret can you keep it?

Oh it's that time to hear that theme song tonight!!! Pretty Little Liars returns tonight!!! I can't wait even though I am not completely caught up I think i am going to risk it and start watching anyway!

Tonight's episode comes on at 8pm on ABC Family

I am so hooked onto the show I watched season 3 all last week on Netflix and I am bummed there is no way to see what I missed of season 4 until the season is totally done since I had to work and watch the marathon of that was shown today.

I love how the show can make you feel so smart and yet so confused at the same time! I also want each one of those character's closets!

In love with my Leg Warmers!

How adorable are these! I saw these legwarmers posted on a Facebook Group page as someone in my area was taking orders to make these for you for just $15 well of course with my boot sock obsession I jumped on them and ordered them right away! I wore them today with my brown sweater, white bubble necklace, gray leggings, and my brown  boots! I love them! Some southern cuteness added to my cozy outfit!
