Falling in love with my decor

Hello!

Good Morning!!!

Happy Friday!!

Ewww Friday the 13th!!!

Today I wanted to share how cute my front porch has become!

To me, Fall is all about Football. My husband and I are playing Fantasy Football and well I was born a Redskin fan.

Well there's no doubt that me coming from the house hold I grew up in with the porch decorated for Football season and even a Redskin Christmas tree this there would be anything different in my house.... Well we haven't gotten the Redskins Christmas tree yet.... But we now have the Front porch decorated and I couldn't be more excited!

Now, I was going to share this post a while ago but I didn't want to hear the back lash of still being a football fan when there are players in the organization being disrespectful.

I am a fan of the game! A player can come and go from the team I picked to follow or well was born into following.... So yes I continue to watch The Game!

With that said... Here is what made my porch Fall like this year!

With Mums the colors of The Redskins
A Monogram Football
Redskins Ribbon
and a garden flag...

I'm absolutely IN LOVE!!!

Of course Audrey and Oswald have to be featured as well.....

Audrey of course being the real model!

Tell me what you think?

Do you decorate for Football season as well?

Thanks so much for reading my post!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Football Season Is BACK : Fantasy Football

Good Morning!

Football Season is Back!

Are You Ready For Some FOOTBALL?!

My husband decided he wanted to get into the sport more since I am a fan so we are playing Fantasy Football!

Which we had talked about it while we were eating at Buffalo Wild Wings and they were showing one of the NFL games and I didn't really push the subject... cause well he's not really a fan.

A week later, next thing I know is he looks at me and says, "Umm Hey, when is our draft?"

Like whoa!

Come to find out he had been researching players and such.... He was ready!

I jumped right up and got it all set up... contacted our friends and we got the draft a rolling...

I found out he has been listening to me when we have watched games and I have talked about different players.

He was picking them for his team!

I had the best time during the draft because he got so nervous and kept saying....

"What do I do?"

 "Who should I pick next?"

Have to say I'm pretty Lucky and pretty proud of him!

We actually play against each other for week 1!!

Here's how our teams look:

My Team is named : Reed Between The Lines

RB: Rob Kelly - WAS
RB: Dalvin Cook - MIN

RB: Devonta Freeman - ATL
WR: Pierre Garcon - SF
WR: T.Y. Hilton - IND
TE: Jordan Reed - WAS

How do you think we will do?

Fall Accessory

Hey hey hey!!!

How are you doing today?

My friend was talking about needing ideas for her engagement pictures and BAM I remembered this scarf.... which it then opened up my mind for ideas glore!

The Fashionista in me is out ROARING over this awesome Fall Accessory that you have GOT to GET!

Can we Talk about a must Have here please?

Now, I have had this blanket scarf for a while now and well I haven't worn it that much... SHAME!

I was also working in a child care center when I bought it so I never got to really wear it much.

Now as for the picture ideas.... I suggested they use it as a blanket to sit on... Cover up with doing those cute poses... her wear it as a scarf.... etc.

Well I have now ordered 2 more in different colors.... I blame her... but then again..... WHY NOT have these in your wardrobe?

This one from Eleven Oaks Boutique

The this one came from Jane.com

But let's go over these scarves... like you can create so many outfits with just one of these! They have so many colors so that's a different solid shirt, tunic, or dress!

With those shirts... different pants... jeans, khakis, or jeggins

cardigan...tank..jeans.... with boots...flats...sneakers!

But the scarf can be worn different ways!

Like a Scarf... tied different ways

Cardigan like with a skinny belt

So many different possibilities!!

for $12 - $24 dollars you will totally get use out of the scarf!

This would be a perfect icing on the cake to your thanksgiving outfits!

Or if you just want to be TRENDY !!!

Do you have any other Ideas?

Do you have a blanket scarf yourself?

Let me know.. Share them with us!

I Just wanna be TRENDY!

Hey Everyone!

Good Morning!

Hope you are all doing well!

So... I have to tell you about this conversation my friend and I had...... Well She just got back from Aruba and I was asking her for a Mexican night so we could talk about the trip and well be us. Cause, well... I have missed her.

We got on the subject of me telling her how I have not been good and stuck with doing weight watchers and was feeling blah again so I know I need to do it and stop being this way. The she told me she was feeling Blah as well and was trying to be Trendy at work and really she was just feeling old!

I am older then her!

We then got to talking about all the trendy things we liked and our wants...

-Eyes-

She said she wanted new Glasses and to start wearing them more and well You all know I felt the same way! ( New Glasses Post

-Hair-

She said she was wanting pink hair and I said I did too just like a strand for Breast Cancer awareness month and yeah... kinda... almost...over. She is worried that her being in a wedding next weekend it would bother the bride that she has pink hair.

Well she now has pink hair! So points for TRENDY hair go to her!

I told her I wanted a perm because lazy girl here would like to have curly hair more then the straight hair she has had her whole life and the hours of standing there it lasts maybe 2 hours max... Her reply was, " Umm... well they are coming back... but No don't do it."

Like fine.... Maybe I can try waving my hair the night before... Ugh

-Nails-

I told her I took off my acrylics using cotton balls soaked in nail polish remover wrapped tightly with Foil wile I watched an Episode of Game Of Thrones and it actually took my acrylics off nicely!

We both agreed that we wanted to have our nails cool colors.... like Purple, Navy, and Burgundy,

Also Black.... I love black nails! When they are short... Like right now I could rock the black nails....

-Boots-

She is wanting to go the Bootie route this year... Which I love and my girl can pull off any style!

The only bootie type look I do is the wedges!! Love love love these!!! I have black and tan and they go with everything!!! They help dress the outfits up a little and are so COMFY!

Now I wear flat boots the most though and ....Well I just bought these boots from Payless!! Of course they had their buy one get one sale going on!

So I couldn't resist not getting these cause well I had tall brown boots but can only seem to find one boot....

Now I have no excuses!

-Sweaters-

We both agreed that we want to rock those off the shoulder sweaters with the lace bralettes!

Like pictured here.....

Which we haven't been able to find!

Help us out!

Please!

I found sweaters on the Old Navy website and I had gotten the bralettes as gifts for my wedding/honeymoon....

So hopefully these will all work out to help me achieve that Trendy look.

-Accessories-

I am all about the Blanket scarves... But what about when I am not wearing them or how about if I ever get to rock that sweater bralette trend... Choker! a thin black choker will  be wore for sure! Which thanks to Jane.com  I have already bought one!

-Vests-

Well as for me.... I am in love with wearing my olive utility vest so much that I bought a khaki one  oh and ummm a Navy puffer vest.

Which with plaid shirts the vests are super cute!

I have wore my olive green vest with a navy stripe shirt and have received compliments galore.

All the vest were purchased through Jane.com

Are there any other Trendy thing we should add to our list?

What's your trendy list?

Let me know!

Crayon melting on the pumpkin

Hello!!!! Good Morning!!! I feel a little awkward talking about Fall activities when it is going to be 87 degrees here today!

I have some pretty cool news..... well to me....Wow.... this is exciting.......

I have been getting emails asking all the details on Melting the crayons on the pumpkin!

I shared this with everyone from my weekend with my niece..... Here

Well here you go!

This is step by step on what we did!

Got all my things needed for the project:

-Pumpkin
-Glue
-Crayons
- White Spray Paint
-Hairdryer
-Tablecloth

And PATIENCE!!

Actually took way longer then I expected!

I painted the Pumpkin waiting for my niece to arrive and let it dry while we went to the mall.

Now that we have a white pumpkin, I let my niece pick out the colors and we worked together on gluing them to the top of the pumpkin.

Then with the hair dryer start melting the crayons!

Here's how it turned out!

I'm quite proud!

What's a fun Fall Activity that you have done or do every year? Share!!

Aunt Status = Best Status

My Oh My! That was such an eventful weekend! Our niece planned a whole weekend for us! Audrey was even included in the plans!

-Pie face-
-Headbandz-
-Crayon Pumpkin-
-Movies-
-Pigs in a blanket-
-Walking Audrey around the outdoor mall-
-Pumpkin Patch-
-Sleeping in the floor on the coolest bed ever!-

She had planned that she would be dropped off and her and I would take Audrey to the mall to walk around and get her a special cookie!  Then she would spend the night with us!

The girl is a home body and doesn't spend the night many places... so hearing that she wanted to stay with us... I was for sure up for the challenge and going to make sure she had the best time ever!

Which she had spent the night with one of the grandmas the night before!

I think bets were made on how long she was going to really stay!

Shocking to all she stayed the entire night and she never once asked about her Grandma ( My mother in law) that she lives with!

BAM! BEST AUNT EVER!!!

How did I do it you ask?

Well we took Audrey to the mall and walked around for about an hour, she  got a ghost cookie to enjoy.

On our way home, we went through the drive thru of her favorite places. Got some lunch cause my girl was "starving!"

We ate our lunch and then had to run out the store and grab some stuff for our activity had planned plus we needed dinner and breakfast stuff.

Once we got home and put all the groceries away, We were ready for our next activity which was melting crayons on a pumpkin!

Totally took longer then expected but my girl was all about it! Wondering which color would "win the race" she was saying.... Of course being able to run around the yard with Audrey was a plus too!

It got dark on us so we went in and played Headbandz... Not fully to the rules... but it was fun and she totally was guessing crazy things? Like wait a minute are you listening to the clues at all?

Like the best one she had..... Swing... I said, " You have on in your Back yard in the grass
She asked, " do I make noise?"
I said, " Yes sometimes you squeak!"

Her reply, " Poop!"

-_-

Really?!

Kids....

After that, We made our dinner Pigs in a blanket and tater tots!

Then it was PJ time and making our sleeping spot!

My plan was to sleep in the living room on our air mattress because she wanted Audrey to sleep with us... YAY!

Well, The box for the Air Mattress was in the closet... but NO AIR MATTRESS!!!

Still don't know where that is!

So I grabbed every blanket we had on the house that wasn't on the bed in my bed room and laid them on the floor! Which she proceeded to tell me was the best bed  EVER! My back the next morning didn't agree.... ugh I'm old now!

Now that everything was ready we had one more exciting thing to do and that was to play the PIE GAME!

Talk about nerves! Making the game click was such a scary thing! Who was going to wear the whip cream?!

Which once she took her turn and it hit her I thought she was going to be done with the game but no she wanted me to wear the whip cream haha

We played enough for her and I both to get hit with the whip cream twice!

We wiped off our faces really good and washed off the game then we got all tucked in.

2 movies later she was fast asleep and I drifted off to the snoring of her and Audrey!

Audrey woke her and I up at 9 the next morning and Kris fixed us breakfast before we went to the pumpkin patch with her friend and Grandma ( My mother in law)

I'm super sleepy today and hope I will make it through work as I have yawned typing this post!

As rough as I feel today, I wouldn't change it for the world because her staying with me was so much fun and I am so proud of myself that I was able to keep her entertained and no tears occurred except from the laughter we had all day and night!

I love that girl!

Hope yall have an AWESOME day! Hope yall enjoyed this post!

I'm all "4" this look!

Good Morning!

Happy Thursday! Whoot whoot!

I have a new Fall look that I think I have been wearing every other day that I'm not wearing the Rose Gold Look!

Using:
Touch Liquid Foundation in Taffeta
Touch Mineral Liquid Conceler
Beach front Bronzer Sunset

Eyes : Honest and Cheerful from Palette 4
Moonstruck Eyeliner Pencil in Perfect
3D Fiber Mascara

Brows: Light Moonstruck Precision Brow Liner and Gel
LIPS: Pouty Lip Liner with Upscale Lipstick

I still don't feel very comfortable with my eye shadows... I love the palettes and know they can create so many looks and I have been trying and going out of my comfort level and trying different colors rather then just the neutral colors and not just doing one all over color.

If you have any questions about the products.... please feel free to ask!

I won't bite or laugh!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Just caused I'm married doesn't mean we stop dating....

We received a Date Jar from the guest at the wedding, But with Fall starting... I find it so easy to think of neat dates to do.

*Drive to the Mountains
* Going to the Pumpkin Patch
* Going Apple Picking
* Breweries/ Winery tours
*Go to a Washington Redskins Game
* Bon Fires
*Halloween Parties
* Ghost Tour

But the again... We have already done those every year... traditions but... need something new...

Need to spice it up a bit... so I went on a search.

Hmm... well when I went looking for date ideas I came across this one!

Good Will Date!  OMG!! Have you heard about this?  Looks like so much fun!

The rules are:

Each person picks out a Surprise outfit for the other person at Good Will
$10 budget
Gender appropriate.
When on the date you can't tell people it's a joke.
when you upload pictures you need to challenge others to have a Good Will date too!

Can You imagine?  Could be the craziest outfits! Would you do it?

If you do I want to see!

I told my girls about it and they laughed and said they were down so we are going to do a drawing and put our names in.... draw a friend that we get to dress for the day....Meet up dressed in the clothes bought for us from Good Will and have a blast!

Thinking of going to a winery all fancy and such!

Although, it's not probably going to be a date with my Husband....  A date with your girls is always a must!!!

Seriously... Life is way too short and If you can't laugh at yourself.... Well then you aren't having enough fun!

I am my favorite comedian!

If you have any date ideas share them with me!

Have an awesome day!

Brewery fun!

Oh my goodness! Yesterday was so much fun! All 8 of my friends and I squeezed ourselves into a car and went on a road trip to Charlottesville to visit 4 breweries! It was one of the Best Days EVER!

Our first stop was Castle Hill Cider! It was very nice the girl did a great job telling us about each tasting which to do the tasting was only $8 and we tasted 5 their brews. My favorite was Serendipity! The place was beautiful and they said that they held weddings there. It was beautiful I would totally get married there!

Our next stop was Blue Mountain Brewery! It wasn't what I expected when I think of breweries. what I think is kinda the museum feel...yeah no this was like a sports bar feel! We were all seated right away and we ordered "The Flight" which was a sampler of all their Lagers. $9 to sample 10! I could only do the first one! They got worse as you went on. We ordered some snacks there as well, I got the Buffalo chicken dip. I didn't like it... my friend makes a better Buffalo Chicken Dip. I tried someones pinch of Pretzel and you should totally get the pretzel and cheese if you visit!

Then it was on to my favorite stop of the day! Bold Rock! You get to see an sneak peek of the machines behind the scenes view. They had free tastings! My favorite was the Bold Rock Virginia draft! So Yummy! It doesn't bloat you at all! Beautiful scenery!

Our last stop was Devil's backbone. It was completely packed a few of us got a beer to taste and we all agreed Bold Rock was better and we left.

It's was a fantastic day! So if you are in the mood for a road trip, I would totally go visit those places!
