I Just wanna be TRENDY!

Hey Everyone! 

Good Morning! 

Hope you are all doing well! 

So... I have to tell you about this conversation my friend and I had...... Well She just got back from Aruba and I was asking her for a Mexican night so we could talk about the trip and well be us. Cause, well... I have missed her. 

We got on the subject of me telling her how I have not been good and stuck with doing weight watchers and was feeling blah again so I know I need to do it and stop being this way. The she told me she was feeling Blah as well and was trying to be Trendy at work and really she was just feeling old!

I am older then her!

We then got to talking about all the trendy things we liked and our wants...

-Eyes-

 She said she wanted new Glasses and to start wearing them more and well You all know I felt the same way! ( New Glasses Post) 

-Hair-

 She said she was wanting pink hair and I said I did too just like a strand for Breast Cancer awareness month and yeah... kinda... almost...over. She is worried that her being in a wedding next weekend it would bother the bride that she has pink hair.

Well she now has pink hair! So points for TRENDY hair go to her!

 I told her I wanted a perm because lazy girl here would like to have curly hair more then the straight hair she has had her whole life and the hours of standing there it lasts maybe 2 hours max... Her reply was, " Umm... well they are coming back... but No don't do it."

Like fine.... Maybe I can try waving my hair the night before... Ugh

-Nails-

I told her I took off my acrylics using cotton balls soaked in nail polish remover wrapped tightly with Foil wile I watched an Episode of Game Of Thrones and it actually took my acrylics off nicely! 

We both agreed that we wanted to have our nails cool colors.... like Purple, Navy, and Burgundy, 

Also Black.... I love black nails! When they are short... Like right now I could rock the black nails....

-Boots-

She is wanting to go the Bootie route this year... Which I love and my girl can pull off any style!

The only bootie type look I do is the wedges!! Love love love these!!! I have black and tan and they go with everything!!! They help dress the outfits up a little and are so COMFY! 


Now I wear flat boots the most though and ....Well I just bought these boots from Payless!! Of course they had their buy one get one sale going on!

So I couldn't resist not getting these cause well I had tall brown boots but can only seem to find one boot....

Now I have no excuses!

-Sweaters-

We both agreed that we want to rock those off the shoulder sweaters with the lace bralettes!

Which we haven't been able to find! 

Help us out!

Please!

I found sweaters on the Old Navy website and I had gotten the bralettes as gifts for my wedding/honeymoon....

So hopefully these will all work out to help me achieve that Trendy look.

-Accessories-

 I am all about the Blanket scarves... But what about when I am not wearing them or how about if I ever get to rock that sweater bralette trend... Choker! a thin black choker will  be wore for sure! Which thanks to Jane.com  I have already bought one! 

-Vests-

Well as for me.... I am in love with wearing my olive utility vest so much that I bought a khaki one  oh and ummm a Navy puffer vest.

Which with plaid shirts the vests are super cute!

I have wore my olive green vest with a navy stripe shirt and have received compliments galore.

All in one weekend

Flash Black Friday

.......Left one job...got engaged...started new job.... 

I'm not Miss Ashley anymore.... sad but it was time to go. I had such an awesome class to leave on so there were only happy goodbyes. The last of my babies went off the Kindergarten and I went on to have a Big Girl job... Now I work in an office.... Something I never thought I would do.... always said ,"Eww I can't just seat at a desk all day." Well I do now and it has been really quite fun. I type out invoices for the work the mechanics have done on tractor trailers and such. Totally different from being a Pre-K teacher.... although the "men" around here do throw tantrums so at the same time.... not so different.  

That night we "celebrated" by going to see Chase Rice in concert! What an awesome time!

So I woke up a little upset but nervous and all I got a call the next day did I want to go get my nails done.... I replied with, "No I really don't have the money," To then be told she didn't ask if I had money but did I want to go. Well then I found out it was just going to be a big girls day. Kris's mom, his sister in law, niece and me!

We got our nails done..... went to lunch....went shopping...well that night Kris and I were going to go see our friend's band play. I told everyone come on out. We got there to see everyone did come out. No way!

It was such an awesome time I found a new drink there that was very yummy and on my 3rd one right after the band played "Gettin Giggy With it" The band stopped and said, " oh hey guys we have an annoucement..... To the driver of a silver Ford F150  and he read the licence plate..... it of course was Kris's truck. Someone hit your truck so we need the owners on stage. Kris said come on and I said, " um no that's your truck." well all of a sudden I am being pushed onto the stage. Tipsy and freaking out a little Kris bent down and asked me to Marry Him!!!!

I was completely speechless and cried the rest of the night!!! haha I really did! August 29th will never be the same! I called my mom and dad....called my Dee-ma.....Facebook status.... Istagram pictures.....all the above.

Such an awesome night! That will never forget! We are planning to get married September 10th of this year. Planning a wedding is very very VERY stressful. 

We were going to do destination wedding..... SUPER EXPENSIVE! 

Now we are looking for venues around home.

I got my dress already with my mom and funny thing is... THE FIRST WEDDING DRESS.... I tried one. That was such a fun day! My mom and I just went to go look and ended up leaving with the dress.

Now I need to get focused and start working out and doing Weight Watchers again.

Manicure Monday inspiration....

Good Morning! Happy Monday! If you have the case of the MONDAYS.... Smile! You will get through it and be closer to Friday in no time! Now lets pamper ourselves Manicure Monday style! 

Today's manicure was  inspired by my new shirt I told you about in yesterday's post........Kindness Is Always Stylish...... so I wanted to experiment.

Pink, White, and Glitter!

I love love love this pink! I actually used my whole bottle of Avon color I had of this and now I couldn't find the same color so I found it over the weekend at Walgreens

Today, using French tip white from Avon

Salon Perfect's Top coat Mother of Pearl

and Sally Hansen's Triple Shine Pixie Slicks

Before painting your nails take a q-tip dip it in lotion and go around each nail and the polish won't stick to any where the lotion touched! 

That trick really works!

Each color took 3 coats to cover the nails completely or to my liking...

Blood Red Nails..... on your finger tips

Good Morning! Happy Manicure Monday! it's going to be a great night for me to get my nails ready for the 4th of July! Can you believe it's that time already! AHHH! I honestly can't decide how I want to paint my nails I have the colors but I just can't make up my mind.....

Don't forget Accessories with your bikinis are a must this summer! Hats are a must! Coverups are a must! Koozies are a must! I am obessed with my koozies ! I have 3 now and I use the one that matches best each day I am out by the lake or pool!  As well have one one it's way!

I will post my nails on here for you once I have painted them and made that final decision! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Manicure Monday with a touch of sparkle

Good morning! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter yesterday! Well, I know I said last Monday that the nails colors I had gotten I would show you each manicure Monday.... well over the weekend I got a new color... so I am going to show you the new color today....

Of course they are from the Sally Hansen Nail collection.... the Triple Shine is called Dream Sequins and the Insta-dri color is called Petal Pusher.

I love the color it took about 3 coats for my nails to get the full color and then adding the Dream Sequins color to my ring fingers was such a cute and subtle touch. It still kept my nails classy. The colors work very well with each other.

Springy Manicure Monday

Good Morning! Happy Monday! It's Spring Break around here this week! For me that means not as mean kids will be at work today and I won't have Dance classes to teach at night. 

I bought some new nail colors to add to my collection! I love the Sally Hansen Nail colors and the polish always stays on my nails long!

1. "The blue" is called Royal Rage it is from the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear collection
2. "The pink" is called Hot Magenta it is also from the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear collection
3. " The grey" is called Grease Lighting it is from the Sally Hansen Insta-dri collection
4. "The Green" is called I-rush luck it is from the Sally Hansen Insta-dri collection
5. "The glitter green" is called Seanic it is from the Sally Hansen Triple Shine collection

I did my nails in the Hot Magenta I think this is an awesome color for Spring and Summer!

Finale...Will we really get to learn all?

Hi! Hello! Howdy! I am so excited! Whoot Whoot! One hour left until the season 4 finale of Pretty Little Liars! Then I wont talk about the show until June.... when it comes back on... ok i'll probably talk about it tomorrow!


I have my snacks ready and if you have not tried this your really should! It's Popcorn with Popcorn Chicken on top! Kris and I got it at the local fancy movie theater! Along with a glass of wine I am ready!

As you can see I even did my nails for tonight's finale black with a red A along with wearing my "Mighty Pretty" bracelet from MARK

Manicure Monday!

Good Morning! So I read on cosmopolitan.com some tips for painting your nails and it's crazy I only knew 2 of the tips! I felt as If I have been living under a rock! Totally a must read!

I wanted to share my nails that I painted last night! I was very excited about the color but not so much with the results. I used Essie Turquoise & Caicos. It took 3 coats of the polish for it to cover my nails. I wouldn't rate this polish very high on my liking. 

I can't wait for my deep grey color from Avon to come in today and then I will be changing my nails to that!

Nude nails....

Good morning! How are you today? Did you leave anyone a special note? I received quite a few and really I was more excited that they read my blog post from yesterday! 

Last week, I tried Essie color Sand Tropez. I have to say I liked it but it wasn't the nude color I was looking for... It stayed on my nails nicely given the test of  work! I'm serious if nail color stays on my nails at work it's awesome! I have to wash my hands at work over 50 times a day. So A+ for this nail color!

So what nude color have you tried and loved? I feel like my next color I would like to try is a deep grey! I have one on the way from AVON the Speed dry Grey Flash! It's only 99 cents! Worth a try and I will for sure post my nails and see if it passes the test!

LOVE nails

Good morning!! It's fun to be a girl at times! It's Monday! Manicure Monday! So how are you going to do your nails for Valentine's Day that is FRIDAY?! Well you can just paint them all red or all pink..... Or spice it up with some nail art! Paint them red with pink tips.... red with the pink sponge technique... all red and one pink...or all pink then add the red crackle paint! 

The reason I am saying both colors and not sticking to one is because I don't think I can wear my "I love my boyfriend shirt" to work and that is red so I am just going to wear a pink long sleeve shirt and that is one of my pet peeves that I have my nails red and I am wearing pink for some reason that bothers me so bad.

Are you ready for some football?

This weekend is the BIG GAME! Are you ready? The commericals....the food...and that Halftime show!!!

 Today at work, the staff and kids wore their favorite sports jersey to celebrate the BIG GAME this Sunday! Also, we always do a can drive in spirit of the game called the "Souper Bowl" where 2 boxes are placed for each team participating in the Super Bowl! I gave this year to the Broncos box!

I took a vote in my class of who my kids wanted to win and sadly they said the Seahawks! WHOMP! 

What are your plans for the Game? I'm excited about mine! I am making some pigs in a blanket and little pizzas to take to my mom and dad's with my boyfriend!

So I am sure you are wondering what I am going  to wear? well simple... I will be wearing my Washington Redskins t-shirt and my jeans! No my team might not be playing but OH WELL! can't wear any of those other teams stuff! 

I am also thinking of doing my nails special for the game........What do you think of this design?

Manicure Mondays!!

                                MANICURE MONDAY!

 Sometimes I have the Monday Blues but lately I have been hearing Monday is considered  Man Crush Monday where you post pictures of your hot guy or the Hot celeb guys you wish you had on Mondays  I also heard it is considered to be MANICURE MONDAY where you get your nails all dolled up for the week and post the pictures of your freshly painted nails on Monday! 

               I thought why not share some ideas to help you with your Manicure Monday!! Right now I am loving the AVON NAIL ART DESIGN STRIPS.  They are so easy to apply and they lasted on my nails for about 2 weeks! Remember I am a Pre- K teacher during the day so I wash my hands about 20-30 times a day and they stayed on GREAT!!!

Nails are painted with Avon Chilling Teal color
and used AVON NAIL ART Cheetah Pink

Again using the AVON NAIL ART Cheetah pink
and this time the Avon Nail Color is Viva pink
