Well I said Yes!

Good Morning! I got such a wonderful surprise, That means the world to me! My friend Stephanie asked me to be in her wedding! So I said Yes! To being a bridesmaid!

She gave us little boxes filled with some chocolate, an emergency bridal kit, some Fireball , and a personal gift to each of us ( I got lipstick and eyeshadow). Our Bridesmaid guide she gave us told me that I was to wipe her tears on that very special day but I have already started crying... so i'm not sure I'll be that much help on that department! It was such a cute and sweet way to have officially asked!

Kris was also asked to be a Groomsmen! Chad gave him a box that was asking him to " Suit up, Drink up, and Stand up beside him on his big day!" So this will be our second wedding of this year that we are going to be in together!

This is going to be such a beautiful wedding! Chad and Stephanie have been together for 10 years and I have only be in the picture for little over 2 years and I am so excited to be asked to be in this wedding!

ummmm about that....

In 2014 I made goals for life and my blog and didn't meet most of them to the fullest I would have liked to, but a lot in life did happen so I can't be too mad at myself.

So let me explain..... 

1. I got really bad migraines and had to drink soda but it's not my first choice anymore and I only drink it when I really need it.

2. I have not cut my hair it has been growing! 

3. yeah... I was doing good and well life happened

4. no one new joined

5. I feel as if I did a little more

6. I did a Diabetes walk for one of my students but not a color 5k

7. I teach a creative movement class at work where i do zumba moves at.

8. I sing in my car everyday..... does that count?

9. I feel as If I have been there a little more for my friends and my family

10. I saw Deirks Bentley and Thomas Rhett in concert!

11. I did cook new recipes!

12. oh yes every month I have gotten a massage!

13. I did take my mom to the zoo for mother's day

14. I didn't do a day trip to the outlets but I did shop on my cruise at Jamaica ,Grand Turk, and Nassau... does that count?

So maybe life did go as I planned but 2014 was so amazing! I am very thankful for everything in my life and for the person I am today!

Baby... We're cruising....

Hello everyone! I have been busy typing up some posts and I felt like telling you my cruise before anything else! The next 4 posts will be about the Cruise, which was Amazing! I would so do another one in heartbeat! Carnival Cruises really outdo themselves! The staff and food were out of this world! Our cruise was a 6 night on and we visited Jamaica, Grand Turk, and Nassau

Our Cruise was on the Carnival Breeze Ship I felt as if we were in a mansion on the ocean! There was always something to do! Comedy shows, movies one the deck, pools, hot tubs, live music, and dance shows. 

The food was amazing the whole floor was covered with buffet stations. there was Guy's Burger joint... Tacos from the Blue Iguana....on the Sea days there was BBQ and Hotdogs. The best was Pizza Pirate pizza was available 24 hrs. I was in heaven! 

The rooms I thought would be a lot smaller then they were! I really loved everything about this ship! 

I can't wait for our next cruise!

Tomorrow I will tell you about our first stop which was to Jamaica!

Fall fun has kidnapped me....

Good Morning! Hello! Happy Friday!  I hope you haven't forgotten about me! Life has just been so busy lately and I think yesterday was the first day I was able to step back and go whoa it's NOVEMBER already! It's been crazy my boyfriend and I have literally had to do something everyday/weekend for a while. 

This weekend we are going to Charlottesville  this weekend with our friends to visit some Wineries and Breweries! I can't wait! 

Then guess what?! We only have 23 days until our cruise! we booked our excursion last night! eek!

I just wanna stop..... and Thank you Baby!

Good Morning! Happy Friday! Hope everyone has had such an awesome week! It has been a hot one here and I love it! 

On Facebook an article was being shared on my news feed 36 Thank you messages for your everyday Prince Charming so I clicked on it and WOW! Every one of those applies to Kris and I so well! I loved it! I tagged him in it and we laid in bed together reading them. well he has a photographic memory one of his many super powers so now he is saying numbers from the article that apply to the current situations!

It really was an awesome article you should totally read it! It kind of made me want to write my own "Thank yous" and post them around the house at random times. It is always nice to do little things for one another.

Father's day!

Happy Father's day to all the dads out there especially mine! He is such a wonderful man and I am blessed to be his daughter. He has been the coolest guy I have ever known and always knows how to make me laugh. My favorite times with him was when I was little and he would pick me up from preschool and we would go to "Gin Jail" which was what I called Western Sizzlin I don't know where I got that name from but it kinda stuck. Also he was so cool that he always called my play kitchen forks Dinglehoppers ( from Little Mermaid) and I would scratch his back and comb his hair with them.  He worked hard to pay for all my dancing I did growing up. He is a die hard Redskin fan and I have become one over the years so I can understand his "language" more. He is such a great leader with everything he does I have never heard any of his co workers say anything bad about him. He is a great role model and I hope to become have the person he is today for my kids that I may have in the future.


Today was a nice laid back pool day with him and he excitedly showed us all of his redskin gifts we have given him over the years had a place in his Redskin room.... told you he was die hard fan!

Nair shower power with Argan Oil

Normally after I save and then go lay out I will start to get those red bumps and it's so uncomfortable and from using this Nair I haven't had any issues and it washes off clean in the shower no pain at all! I was so excited! It also lasted about 2 weeks before I had to do it again!

Good morning! How did everyone like Pretty Little Liars? I don't believe that girl is A.... I hope she isn't A.... she isn't one I picked to be A! 

So I totally thought today was Friday... Whomp it's Thursday! which is fine it gives me an extra day to get things prepared for my weekend and from the sounds of it...it's going to be busy! Friday is my sister's bday and she wants to go bowling! Saturday is a day on the lake and then going to see The Silver Bullets play that night. Sunday will be a cookout with my family to celebrate my awesome day for Father's day!!

I am so ready for the fun and I have no idea what I am going to wear... eek!

Best Friends Day!

Good Morning! Did you know yesterday was Best Friends day? Well with my bad week I had it was nice to have spent the weekend with the friends that truly care about me. I cried to them and each one said you have us and said how strong I am and it will get better because Karma has a funny way of coming back on people that did you wrong. Lindsay's mom gave me more insight to Lindsay and let me know that we both are the same about friendship that you could roll a car over us and we are still your friend, that we have a hard time understanding why all of a sudden the people you love and care about most somehow don't. That's totally how I felt. I don't understand how ones sleep at night. 

Anyway, back to how awesome my weekend was...Saturday, was a surprise party for Lindsay and her boyfriend did an awesome job pulling it off. She had no idea! Of course, she text me asking what I was doing and well I was at her party waiting for her so I looked at Kris and I was like, "OMG! What do I say?" he told me to say sitting and watching TV. Well I said just sitting with Kris then she asked my plans for the night.... oh none yet why? well because I want to see you and hang out... oh ok well text me when you get home then! Ugh! I was so nervous! It was all pulled off and I couldn't have been more happy for her!

Sunday, was a day on the lake with the girls laying out and the boys playing with their Jet skis! Although, I did get to end the day with a long jet ski ride with Kris.We even jumped waves! It was awesome!  

So in the long run of this weekend, I really found out who was worth "melting" for and I couldn't be more happy to have the friends I have!

JUNE!

It's hard to believe that today is June 2nd! I feel like it was just yesterday I was talking about outfits for Valentine's day! It is totally fine though I love this time of year! Yesterday, Kris and I rode the jet ski and it was so nice! I can't wait for every weekend to be doing that laying in the sun and riding the jet ski! 

June is an exciting month! Pretty Little Liars will be back on June 10th, Lindsay, Natalie, my sister, and Kris have their birthdays, and I have the Pre-k graduation!

Sometimes you just gotta getaway!

Hey Everyone! sorry I haven't been posting much but I went out of town and then I have been busy at night with it being Dance recital week! I am beyond exhausted! Anyway! Kris and I went with a group of our friends to Nags Head NC. for Memorial day! I was not excited about the idea at first but after a couple of bad days last week... going to the beach sounded perfect!


The Beach was perfect! we saw dolphins jumping and pelicans swooping down all in a line! The days were perfect on the beach not too hot and not too cold! the ocean water was freezing but that didn't bother me I don't get in the ocean just my feet do and they did with the tide coming up! Kris and I had a great time and would love to make that trip again!

Tasty Tuesday!

Ring the bell.......Eat Ready! Dinner is served!  Tonight, I fixed Chili -cheese dogs and french fries! They were so good! It totally hit the spot! I don't know why but when ever the temperature rises I crave a Hot Dog! I got my fix tonight with my dinner! 

Pulled out that George Forman grill, put those Hot Dogs on it for about 10 mins rotating them here and there while the fries baked in the oven with Old Bay seasoning sprinkled on them and on the stove the can of chili simmered. It all came together so yummy! It was for sure one of those nights where I didn't care If I got an "I Like" from my boyfriend because it hit the spot for me!

Can I get an "I Like?"

Good morning! Last night, I tried to be a little experimental and I made Grilled Chicken Sandwiches! They were so good! I was very proud and if you get an "I Like" from my boyfriend it is how he says things are  like the best thing ever! Which the grilled chicken sandwiches got an "I Like!"


So all I did was seasoned Chicken breast tenderloins with Mcormicks Montreal chicken seasoning and  cooked them on the George Forman grill.

The broccoli was our side and it was so good just fixing it in the bag! YUM!

Then we added our own toppings Mayo, cheese, pickles, and lettuce. I added Pepper Jack cheese for a little spicy taste and my boyfriend just used Colby Jack cheese! 

I also toasted the buns slightly in the toaster to make them a bit stronger so it wouldn't be as messy!

While, we ate dinner last night we watched Ride Along and the dinner was much better.... Honestly the funniest parts of the movie are the parts you see in the previews in my opinion.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Good Morning! Happy Friday! Happy Valentine's Day!!! Today, I get to celebrate my second Valentine's day with the best guy I know (after my daddy)

 I am so excited and completely blessed to have him as my boyfriend and can't wait to share more Valentine's days with him!

He Is such an awesome guy! He fixes my car when there is an issue or just the routine maintenance is always there to listen to me vent or give me advice on the issues that occur on my day to day life. He even has the power to make me smile even when I feel like being mad at him! 

 Being in love feels so good! Everyday I am dressed in LOVE head to toe and like Carrie Bradshaw said in the Sex and The City movie, "That's a label that never goes out of style."
