My Oh My.... Fresh Market is my new Best Friend

Now, I was looking into trying the Hello Fresh delivery and well I am allergic to seafood so I didn't want to spend the money on something I couldn't eat.  They don't switch out meals due to allergies or dietary restrictions.... I asked...

My friend told me about shopping for her meats and veggies at the new Fresh Market store that opened near us.

Are you ready to hear about these amazing dinners I have been making thanks to Fresh Market?

Like... I have felt like I have been eating restaurant food from my kitchen!

We haven't had our normal frozen pizza and tacos this week.... oh no!

Totally stepped it up!

Garlic And Herb Stuffed Pork Chops

Such a juicy and tasty Pork chop. I believe my husband liked this meal way more than I did. It needed more garlic and herb stuff for me.

Chicken Parmesan

I believe this was my favorite meal so far! The taste was PERFECT!

The Seasoned Asparagus as the side that came from Fresh Market is DELICIOUS!

Panko Covered Chicken

Another yummy dinner option for sure!

I totally felt like a chef this week... I mean this food was coming from my kitchen!

So easy to make!

The chicken had the directions of how to bake it in the oven and the Seasoned Asparagus.... I'm telling you is the best asparagus I have ever had! It goes in the microwave for 6 mins!

These meals haven't taken long to cook and they are much healthier choices that were our dinner options!

Our next dinners we are going to try are the.....

Chicken A La Venez (Chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach)

Chicken Cordon Bleu (chicken stuffed with ham and cheese)

If you shop at Fresh Market share with me your favorite meals you have had.

Thanks for reading and I will gladly share the next meals we have that come from Fresh Market because this will be happening for a while for sure!

Strawberry Cheesecake anyone?

Hello!

Good morning!

How are you today?

I know what you are thinking... thought you were on a diet... showing off dessert...blah blah blah

Well it's actually a Protein shake...

So HA!

Jello pudding mix in cheese cake flavor

Frozen Strawberries

Vanilla Protein Powder

Mix and BAM!!!!

You have a YUMMY protein shake!

Now my question was.....

Do you drink these before or after a workout?

After the work out

The most important time is right after the workout because your muscles are like sponges and need instant nutrition for muscle recovery and growth.

They also recommend you can drink one before going to bed.

Right when you wake up.

OR

Half an hour before a work out if you didn't have a meal 3-4 hours before your workout.

Strawberry Cheese Cake Shake

 8 ounces milk
1-2 ounces of water
3-4 frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon of sugar free jello cheesecake pudding
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder.

Hope you enjoy this tasty treat!!!

Have an AWESOME!!!

Tastefully Simple : Pesto Pork Chops

Good Morning!

Hello!

How are you?

As you know one of my goals for 2017 was to cook some new things!

Well with the help from my Tastefully Simple order... I was able to do just that!

Using The Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto mix and Onion onion seasoning!

So good!

Kris even liked them as well!

SCORE!!

Here are you Ingredients:

  • 2 Table spoons of all purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tea spoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 6 Boneless pork chops
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 can of Condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/4  cup of Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto Mix
  • 1 Tablespoon of Onion Onion seasoning

Directions

  1. In shallow dish, combine first 4 ingredients. Coat pork chops in flour mixture.
  2. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chops and cook 3-4 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Remove chops.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Add soup, milk, Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto Mix and Onion Onion™ Seasoning; whisk to combine.
  4. Add chops; simmer 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 150°F on an instant-read food thermometer, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with French-fried onions when serving.
Makes 6 servings. Serve with mashed potatoes and Bayou Bourbon Green Beans.
Make ahead & freeze: Prepare step 1; place chops between sheets of wax paper in a gallon freezer bag. Combine step 3 ingredients in a quart freezer bag. Place both bags in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 2.

These were so good!

I had sauce leftover so I did save it to pour some over grilled chicken and rice that I plan on cooking later this week!

Tasty Tuesday: Chicken and Dumplings!!!!

Hello! Good Morning! Hope everyone slept well!

I'm so excited that I found an easy recipe for Chicken and Dumplings! You know how I am on snow days I just like to cook and stay inside and watch movies or Netflix!! Well, with the slight coldness I have been dealing with this Fall, it made me a little worried. I also had a nightmare it snowed but it was all good I just needed to get back under the blanket.

Anyway, I went searching on Pinterest  and I came across a pin that took me to this site Crowned Creations

So I went to Walmart right away got all the ingredients and got to cooking! The recipe was so easy! Our meal was so delicious! I totally see this being a meal I will be cooking on our snow days and not be afraid to share with others!

I served the Chicken and Dumplings with Garlic bread and Sweet Tea!

Hope you enjoy this dish! Comment below and let me know how you like it!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Stay warm and stay smiling!

Tasty Tuesday!

Ring the bell.......Eat Ready! Dinner is served!  Tonight, I fixed Chili -cheese dogs and french fries! They were so good! It totally hit the spot! I don't know why but when ever the temperature rises I crave a Hot Dog! I got my fix tonight with my dinner!

Pulled out that George Forman grill, put those Hot Dogs on it for about 10 mins rotating them here and there while the fries baked in the oven with Old Bay seasoning sprinkled on them and on the stove the can of chili simmered. It all came together so yummy! It was for sure one of those nights where I didn't care If I got an "I Like" from my boyfriend because it hit the spot for me!

Hope your dinner was as good as mine! Comment below any recipes you feel like sharing or ideas! I would love to try some new things! I gotta keep earning those brownie points!
