I am sorry this post isn't going to be an exciting one. 

I am also sorry I haven't posted in a few days.

 Haven't really had "blogger block"... I have plenty ready to post.. just missing pictures... Just haven't been ready to set them free. 

It's been a long week!

Now, I could sit here and complain about how tired I am.. How I don't want to work.. How I'm hungry... how I haven't had time to work out because I have been busy helping others... All the stuff that is bothering me....

BUT

I'm not!

There has been SO MUCH negativity around me lately... I thought it was just the election... but then family drama started... and All of it has made me very exhausted...

 I can't change it or fix it...

Can't make everyone happy

I heard a Kenny Chesney song this morning and I have heard it before several times.... but do you ever just hear a song at the right time and it either has a whole new meaning or you hear a lyric that stood out more then ever before? Well that's what happened listening to this song...

Which it's super crazy I am talking about how great I think Kenny Chesney is considering I was against him for a while... cause he sang about feet...

I love Kris and Audrey and going home to them everyday is the perfect ending to my days...

The material things aren't really what it's all about...

I wish everyone else could feel the calm and happiness.

The being thankful for what you have.. not thinking/complaining about what you don't have.

I mean I am all about working towards your goals and such but do it for you not because your friend has it.

Be Yourself

I grew a better appreciation this week for some family members... They really work hard and they go unnoticed thanks to the others that are always looking for handouts....

There's my vent for today... I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense 

I want for everyone to tell a friend... a Co- worker... and/ or a Family member that you see their hard work in whatever they may do and that you appreciate it! 

Kindness is a label that don't go out of style...

Love love love love......

I have gotten 6 compliments and its not even 9am!! This Younique makeup has got it going on! 

I have fallen in love with new products well NEW to me.... I love the Upscale Lipstick and Dainty Splurge Eye Shadow Cream.

The Upscale Lipstick in my eyes is the perfect Nude color! It has a hint of pink but its perfect little tint of color for your lips.

Now, the Dainty Eye Shadow cream I didn't pick to buy it came with my Essentials Collection as a free gift so this was an extra. I love it and it is a new FAVORITE for me!!  I was hesitant to try it because I thought it was going to be wet, cold goop going on my eye lids... well it went on smoothly and feels like eye shadow... no creamy feeling!

Mail man is my best friend....

I say that only when I get Younique products in the mail and this weekend I did! Eek! So excited! When I wasn't binge watching Netflix... I played with my new products and I'm in LOVE!  My favorite product has been the Mascara of course but the lipstick color Upscale, I got in my kit is my favorite lip color so far! 

I'm in love with going home every night and playing with my make up!

All in one weekend

Flash Black Friday

.......Left one job...got engaged...started new job.... 

I'm not Miss Ashley anymore.... sad but it was time to go. I had such an awesome class to leave on so there were only happy goodbyes. The last of my babies went off the Kindergarten and I went on to have a Big Girl job... Now I work in an office.... Something I never thought I would do.... always said ,"Eww I can't just seat at a desk all day." Well I do now and it has been really quite fun. I type out invoices for the work the mechanics have done on tractor trailers and such. Totally different from being a Pre-K teacher.... although the "men" around here do throw tantrums so at the same time.... not so different.  

That night we "celebrated" by going to see Chase Rice in concert! What an awesome time!

So I woke up a little upset but nervous and all I got a call the next day did I want to go get my nails done.... I replied with, "No I really don't have the money," To then be told she didn't ask if I had money but did I want to go. Well then I found out it was just going to be a big girls day. Kris's mom, his sister in law, niece and me!

We got our nails done..... went to lunch....went shopping...well that night Kris and I were going to go see our friend's band play. I told everyone come on out. We got there to see everyone did come out. No way!

It was such an awesome time I found a new drink there that was very yummy and on my 3rd one right after the band played "Gettin Giggy With it" The band stopped and said, " oh hey guys we have an annoucement..... To the driver of a silver Ford F150  and he read the licence plate..... it of course was Kris's truck. Someone hit your truck so we need the owners on stage. Kris said come on and I said, " um no that's your truck." well all of a sudden I am being pushed onto the stage. Tipsy and freaking out a little Kris bent down and asked me to Marry Him!!!!

I was completely speechless and cried the rest of the night!!! haha I really did! August 29th will never be the same! I called my mom and dad....called my Dee-ma.....Facebook status.... Istagram pictures.....all the above.

Such an awesome night! That will never forget! We are planning to get married September 10th of this year. Planning a wedding is very very VERY stressful. 

We were going to do destination wedding..... SUPER EXPENSIVE! 

Now we are looking for venues around home.

I got my dress already with my mom and funny thing is... THE FIRST WEDDING DRESS.... I tried one. That was such a fun day! My mom and I just went to go look and ended up leaving with the dress.

Now I need to get focused and start working out and doing Weight Watchers again.

???????

Ummm..... So Hey..... I have a lot to tell you all and I have been wanting to start my Blog back up so I could. Audrey actually might have messed up my laptop in June of last year... you know after my last post... Yeah so I haven't been able to post anything.... I have been asking for a new lap top and well I haven't gotten one yet... It's next on list!!!

Which a lot has happened....I threw Kris a Surprise 80's rocker party for his 30th Birthday... new job...I'm engaged...I'm going to be an aunt...found my dress...we have a new fur baby.... I'm a Representive for Younique...... 

So I have a lot of explaining to do....

I will get right to it...

Hey! I always find it to be so much fun to take simple stuff and together they become such a super cute outfit! T-shirt, shorts, sandals, and a dash of accessories you have an outfit everyone is asking where did you get it?

You could totally wear this outfit tomorrow because I bet you have all the pieces to this simple...yet...CUTE outfit!

Go to your closet or your dresser and pull out your... Black t-shirt.....your khaki shorts....grab your fedora ( because I know you bought one like I said to in my  Hats Off It's Sunday post) and slip on your black sandals..... and sprinkle on some bling... you will have such a super cute outfit that I bet you are thinking "holy crap...why didn't I think of that?"

Feel Good Fitness Friday!

Good Morning! Happy Feel good Friday! This has been such a long week...it just dragged....we are finally here at Friday though! YIPPEE!

I have to admit everything I mentioned about staying on top of Weight Watchers and Fitness and all.....Well I slacked and then didn't weigh in on Wednesday. I lived a little over the weekend and I haven't eaten the best but I worked out Tuesday, Wednesday ,and Last night! I was feeling down on myself and also bloated because well I am a girl and that happens once a month and last time I weighed in with that I had gained 2 pounds... 

After last night's workout though, I feel so better!  I also was complimented on my legs yesterday, being told they looked very toned. I also realized my arms have a bit more toning look to them now as well. If that's not motivation, I don't know what else is!

I wanted to share the awesome workout I tried last night and was so excited about! I did this after the Ripped DVD on the Zumba Exhilarate set. You will need a resistance band for it. I found it on Pinterest of course!

I did 20 reps on each leg then went on to do some more resistance exercises, then came back and did another 20 reps on each leg, did and another exercise, and ended with 20 reps on each leg.

It burned but felt so good!

Headbands....

Good Morning! It's finally Thursday! This week has been SOOOOO LONG! 

Lately, I have been getting new clothes and they make you feel pretty good.  You know though, I'm all about the accessories. I have fallen victim to yet another trend..... Head bands!  I mean I have always had a thing for them especially with the Gossip Girl days and Blair Waldorf always had one on with her outfits.

They totally dress up any outfit and can change your whole look. I love them!

I have gotten many of mine from Walmart and my best friend gave me a Pink Pewter one for Christmas.

Carrie Underwood has promoted Pink Pewter so of course it can be a Country Night accessory!

I also love how they have made hairstyle to go along with them that are messy but cute! I tried one myself thanks to one of my co workers teaching me how since my hair has gotten so long.

My pearl one here was worn at a country night!

Really PLL Really?

Good morning! I am so mad at Pretty Little Liars like I am sure most of you are as well! Charles is A..... WHO IS CHARLES? It seems like he is Jason's twin but then why was Ali's mom making Alison forget about the Yellow dress that was for another girl? What would Jason's twin have against Alison? I could understand the whole Alison twin theory but Jason's? Plus I thought A was going to be someone we have seen this whole time? which we could but he just revealed his real name last night.... but still not what I wanted or was expecting. Yay! Mona is alive! 

I am just so mad.. the big reveal was yet another confusing twist! I guess I can finally be happy to know that at least I am not A which many times I have wondered. 

 I have to say it was a really good episode just mad it didn't result the way I wanted.

Oh well now we just wait for Summer when it comes back to confuse us more.....Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

We Made it to another Feel Good Friday!

Good morning! Happy Friday! I feel like this has been a long week! Happy Spring! It's is a rainy day here. Blah...That means I should stay home and cuddle with Audrey right?

I want to brag a little about myself because I can't get over the fact that I have loss a total of 7 pounds and I have only 3 more to go before I hit my goal! I am beyond excited and Proud of myself! It is truly and awesome feeling!

I started my day, yesterday, trying some Green Tea. It was good just tasted like some unsweet tea to me. I drink the whole to-go cup! Go Me!

Last night, I did the Zumba Toning DVD (Ripped from Exhilarate) then I did 20 reps each of different resistance work outs! 

I'm feeling really good! I left one point yesterday, My fiber one bar (2points), Smart One Spaghetti (7points), grilled chicken and baked potato dinner(7 points), and mini chocolate fudge pie (9points) all added up to 25 points.

Today, I believe I will start my day out the same with the green tea and Fiber One bar. Although my bed feels perfect especially with Audrey curled up with me...

There is a quote I found yesterday that I love and I believe it to be true and actually I could hear my dad say something like that to me.

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going!

Good Habits are just as addicting as bad but so much more rewarding!

I told my friend yesterday that I really wanted to blog this whole adventure I am on so hopefully I could Inspire someone to get active, make better food choices, and have this wonderful feeling every single day! There are not many cons to doing this and actually at the moment I can't think of any but I could tell you so many pros....

I sleep better at night

I am more energized

I don't feel sluggish or bloated all day long

I am happy

I am proud of myself

I love myself more

I am getting compliments every day 

So You can do this! My motivation was to look better in the wedding pictures and fit in my bridesmaid dress for the wedding I am in in May. The dress is actually big on me and I haven't even met my goal yet!

So Find what your motivation is and get up and go after your goals! If you are going to try Weight Watchers TRACK EVERYTHING!

Motivational Monday....

Good morning! Happy Monday morning.... 

Whew! My body is sore! My legs and back are on fire today! whoot whoot!

Note to self : never leave The Avengers movie on tv while trying to fall asleep because Kris will stay up and watch the whole movie and keep scaring you and Audrey while yall are snuggled up sleeping and then will go into work late because he didn't sleep  much..... MEN!


Progress is Progress no matter how small! Great quote to get this day started! Today is my First day of Weight Watchers full force! I will lose the weight and work on toning up for Summer. I am in a wedding May 16th, so I hope to be looking and feeling how I want to be feeling at this moment and time! I can do it! I will do it! 

I was looking into getting the next dvd set of Zumba. it comes with a step this time and has extra dvds with it that focus on certain body part workouts! I would love to get it! I hope I stay this focused and motivated! Please help me!

Worried Wednesday

Good Morning!! How is everyone? Hope you all enjoyed your night last night! This is just going to be a rattling post. So enjoy this read!

PLL Fans how did you like the Finale? Holy cow! Still no real answers but there was a death and I don't think Allison did it. Her hair is darker then the blonde that was in the hoodie that did away with Mona! CeeCee? Or do you think this is where they are going to play the Allison has a twin story? I heard that is how it is in the books.... so we shall see! 

Ok so I'm starting to panic.... my cowboy boots still haven't come in... the wedding is Sept 6! In 10 days! Holy cow! My necklace I think I am wearing with the teal lace dress should be in today with my Wetseal Bundle of goodies! 

Tonight is Back to school night where I get to meet all my new kids for the year! I can't wait! Although it saddens me that it has to be tonight so I have to miss country night..... TOTAL BUMMER! 

I have been practicing Fake Id ( you know the dance from Footloose) Kris isn't going to be learning it before the wedding that's for sure haha I haven't really tried unless it's what we do this weekend but it was really hard to teach myself and I have the first 3 8 counts in my head but my feet aren't doing it yet haha

July is over and done with.....

Happy Friday! whoot whoot! August 1st! July is all gone..... July is my favorite month so Boo Hiss to being all done with it. July was Fun though from Camping....Fireworks....Birthday celebrations...and Hanging with the friends! YAY! I am very excited to see what August will bring! Have a wonderful FRIDAY!!!

Good morning! Happy Friday!

Good morning! Happy Friday! I have had such a wonderful week off of work! I miss my kids but I have been able to relax and enjoy some things I have been missing in my life! I mostly laid out by my parents pool and soaked up the sun! felt so good! I also transformed our bedroom from feeling like we are sleeping in the wilderness to now comfy-happy sleeping. As well as made a new collage frame....which I love!!!

Last night, I made Kris watch Can't Buy Me Love since it was now on Netflix and it is my mom's all time favorite movie!  The movie is from 1987 ( great year) Patrick Dempsey starred in it. If you haven't watched it you totally should! 

It was funny to see the fashion from back then that is coming back in style now a days. Like I am waiting on what they call a "Fishing shirt" which is a long sleeve button up shirt that is monogrammed on the back to wear as a bathing suit cover up and yet... Cindy Mansini had on a button up shirt herself as a cover up...

I hope you all had a wonderful week! Today, is going to be another fun day for me! We are throwing my Deema a tea party birthday party she is going to be 80 years old on Monday! we ware wearing our big hats and dresses and then having a pool day! I am hoping to take lots of pictures because I can't wait to see how beautiful my mom has everything prepared and plus I can't wait to wear my big hat and dress! :) I feel as if I will be looking like I am from the Hamptons today! Let me get my princess wave ready!

Happy Birthday to me!

Good morning! It's been so nice waking up to birthday messages on facebook, instagram, and text messages on my phone. I took this week off to enjoy time with my parents as well as some me time! I plan on getting a 2 hour massage, a pedicure, and laying out by the pool! sometimes you just need some time to stop relax and take a moment to realize what all you have to be lucky for since the steady routine of life sometimes blocks you from remembering that.

Thinking on this Thursday....

I have found that the high school behavior we all go through in life never really stops....whether it happens with co-workers, family members, or your friends. There is always somebody that likes to stir the "drama pot" and it's a shame. People are busy with their own lives and I guess once you hit the age of understanding that and not looking at it as people are ignoring you....then will have much more respect for others. Life is hard and it's horrible to think that a "friend" would make it tougher on their "friend" causing those issues. People don't have to talk to each other everyday... it's not them being rude...it's not them ignoring you....it's them living their life that they have to live to pay the bills....

hope this doesn't offend anyone but it was just my thoughts and wanted to know if anyone else feels this way...guess i'm thinking a lot with turning 27 next week....

Gotta give myself a little pat on the back!

Good morning! Happy Thursday! I had an eventful night last night! Have you seen the cold water challenges that are going on on Facebook? Where you get COLD water poured on you and if you don't within the 24 hours your were nominated you have to donate $100 to a charity of your choice? Well thanks to my friend Brittany, I had to do mine last night! I am very proud and yet think I'm crazy! It was so cold! My boyfriend Kris poured the water on me and my friend Lindsay filmed it for me. Tonight, since I nominated my friend, Stephanie, she is coming over to do hers and I am going to fix her tacos because I feel bad.

Bikini Ready?

Nair shower power with Argan Oil

Normally after I save and then go lay out I will start to get those red bumps and it's so uncomfortable and from using this Nair I haven't had any issues and it washes off clean in the shower no pain at all! I was so excited! It also lasted about 2 weeks before I had to do it again!

Best Friends Day!

Good Morning! Did you know yesterday was Best Friends day? Well with my bad week I had it was nice to have spent the weekend with the friends that truly care about me. I cried to them and each one said you have us and said how strong I am and it will get better because Karma has a funny way of coming back on people that did you wrong. Lindsay's mom gave me more insight to Lindsay and let me know that we both are the same about friendship that you could roll a car over us and we are still your friend, that we have a hard time understanding why all of a sudden the people you love and care about most somehow don't. That's totally how I felt. I don't understand how ones sleep at night. 

Anyway, back to how awesome my weekend was...Saturday, was a surprise party for Lindsay and her boyfriend did an awesome job pulling it off. She had no idea! Of course, she text me asking what I was doing and well I was at her party waiting for her so I looked at Kris and I was like, "OMG! What do I say?" he told me to say sitting and watching TV. Well I said just sitting with Kris then she asked my plans for the night.... oh none yet why? well because I want to see you and hang out... oh ok well text me when you get home then! Ugh! I was so nervous! It was all pulled off and I couldn't have been more happy for her!

Sunday, was a day on the lake with the girls laying out and the boys playing with their Jet skis! Although, I did get to end the day with a long jet ski ride with Kris.We even jumped waves! It was awesome!  

So in the long run of this weekend, I really found out who was worth "melting" for and I couldn't be more happy to have the friends I have!
