Manicure Monday inspiration....

Good Morning! Happy Monday! If you have the case of the MONDAYS.... Smile! You will get through it and be closer to Friday in no time! Now lets pamper ourselves Manicure Monday style! 

Today's manicure was  inspired by my new shirt I told you about in yesterday's post........Kindness Is Always Stylish...... so I wanted to experiment.

Pink, White, and Glitter!

I love love love this pink! I actually used my whole bottle of Avon color I had of this and now I couldn't find the same color so I found it over the weekend at Walgreens

Today, using French tip white from Avon

Salon Perfect's Top coat Mother of Pearl

and Sally Hansen's Triple Shine Pixie Slicks

Before painting your nails take a q-tip dip it in lotion and go around each nail and the polish won't stick to any where the lotion touched! 

That trick really works!

Each color took 3 coats to cover the nails completely or to my liking...

Manicure Monday with a touch of sparkle

Good morning! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter yesterday! Well, I know I said last Monday that the nails colors I had gotten I would show you each manicure Monday.... well over the weekend I got a new color... so I am going to show you the new color today....

Of course they are from the Sally Hansen Nail collection.... the Triple Shine is called Dream Sequins and the Insta-dri color is called Petal Pusher.

I love the color it took about 3 coats for my nails to get the full color and then adding the Dream Sequins color to my ring fingers was such a cute and subtle touch. It still kept my nails classy. The colors work very well with each other.

LOVE nails

Good morning!! It's fun to be a girl at times! It's Monday! Manicure Monday! So how are you going to do your nails for Valentine's Day that is FRIDAY?! Well you can just paint them all red or all pink..... Or spice it up with some nail art! Paint them red with pink tips.... red with the pink sponge technique... all red and one pink...or all pink then add the red crackle paint! 

The reason I am saying both colors and not sticking to one is because I don't think I can wear my "I love my boyfriend shirt" to work and that is red so I am just going to wear a pink long sleeve shirt and that is one of my pet peeves that I have my nails red and I am wearing pink for some reason that bothers me so bad.

Red dresses!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great Monday! Did everyone enjoy their night last night? Mine was PERFECT!!! The food was awesome and the company was Super but the game lacked....um having 2 teams actually...PLAY! wow the Broncos forgot they were suppose to be playing the game last night I feel like....The commercials weren't that great really either... Which one was your favorite? Mine is a toss up between the Doritos and the Cheerios commercials. 

I have to say though that was one of the best half time shows I have seen in a while! Bruno Mars is AWESOME!!! I have been listening to him all day!

Alright, so this post is about your dressy Valentine's day date looks and since the polled ended with RED winning I figured I would give you some options to the RED looks. So Happy shopping my loves!

It was day 3 of giving My boyfriend his little card with a reason of why I love him... today I bragged to him about how smart he is.... which he is very smart...he's dating me after all! haha DUH!

I don't know about you...but it's bothering me

                                 Valentine's Day is coming up... WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR? 

Well I am really wanting to get a red dress but I am also wanting an "I Love My Boyfriend" shirt I saw a shirt in Target but they didn't have my size. So sad!  Then it's like how should I paint my nails? Red? Pink? Heart Designs? See it can really be tough being a girl! Then what are we going to do? Are we really going out on the Valentine's day Friday night? Or is it a Fix dinner at home watch movies kinda night? All these things are going through my mind.... but really does it matter? It is just another day! We should love each other everyday and it should be like Valentine's Day everyday and not a day that should stress you out because it has to be perfect because really what day is really perfect?

Got a secret can you keep it?

Oh it's that time to hear that theme song tonight!!! Pretty Little Liars returns tonight!!! I can't wait even though I am not completely caught up I think i am going to risk it and start watching anyway!

Tonight's episode comes on at 8pm on ABC Family

I am so hooked onto the show I watched season 3 all last week on Netflix and I am bummed there is no way to see what I missed of season 4 until the season is totally done since I had to work and watch the marathon of that was shown today.

I love how the show can make you feel so smart and yet so confused at the same time! I also want each one of those character's closets!

Elf On The Shelf!!!

I love being a teacher especially during the holiday seasons. I was lucky enough to be in a Classroom this year and enjoy the Elf On The Shelf along with the kids. I came up with a few ideas but The lead teacher in my classroom took care of the rest.

The Elf On The Shelf will totally be something I will want to do with my kids and I know my parents would have had so much fun with that when my sister and I were kids.

This is my latest little touch of Christmas I added. I am so excited because I in a way made them! I bought the three stockings at the dollar store then after searching around I found the letters at Walmart along with the bows. So once I got home, I fixed them up and I am thrilled! 

Now it is time for me to cook some dinner and wrap some presents as I get ready to watch Revenge! I can't wait to see how the wedding looks and revenge unfolds!

Confession

Well, still in my funk... but I'll get over it. Anyway, I don't know if it's just me or not....but I am really wanting to decorate for Christmas. ( cricket cricket) I know it is just the start of November and not even Thanksgiving yet but but but.... it is cold outside and sitting by the lit Christmas tree sipping on hot chocolate watching holiday movies just seems so perfect.


I come from a family that has a tree decorated in its own theme in each room of the house so 7 trees total. The Victorian tree, The kitchen gingerbread man tree, The beach Santa tree, the tea cup tree,the family kids craft tree, The Redskin tree, and my ballerina tree. So I find myself wanting to start giving each room of my boyfriends house a theme. Then I realize the amount in my bank account and I snap out of it.


So far, I know I would like the kitchen to have either snowmen or penguins in it with the plaid place mats I saw at Target over the weekend. I would love to make or buy a sign that says " Baby, it's cold outside.

That of course is my favorite holiday song. Jessica Simpson sang that song with her ex husband Nick Lachey and it has been on repeat every Christmas since!

The thought of Christmas makes me all giddy and yet frightened because I have no idea what gifts I am wanting to get my boyfriend or family.

We don't sweat... We SPARKLE!!!

Yesterday October 13th in Richmond, I participated in the Sparkle Me Wild 5k with one of my good friends Candice.  I suggest everyone do at least one Color 5k in your lifetime. Candice and I had so much fun we made our own team name it being "We Sparkle." Her mom was so sweet and made us shirts to wear in the race. The race started with you getting the chance to throw your color packets in the air or at your friends and it had "color stations" that made it even more fun. Each station gave you the chance to get more color by making "Color Angels", getting sprayed with more color, and just getting to roll around in the color! By entering the race Candice and I gave back to the fight against childhood obesity. Such a great cause to have so much fun getting all colored and sparkled up!
