Tasty Tuesday: Chicken and Dumplings!!!!

Hello! Good Morning! Hope everyone slept well!

I'm so excited that I found an easy recipe for Chicken and Dumplings! You know how I am on snow days I just like to cook and stay inside and watch movies or Netflix!! Well, with the slight coldness I have been dealing with this Fall, it made me a little worried. I also had a nightmare it snowed but it was all good I just needed to get back under the blanket.

Anyway, I went searching on Pinterest  and I came across a pin that took me to this site Crowned Creations

So I went to Walmart right away got all the ingredients and got to cooking! The recipe was so easy! Our meal was so delicious! I totally see this being a meal I will be cooking on our snow days and not be afraid to share with others!

I served the Chicken and Dumplings with Garlic bread and Sweet Tea!

Hope you enjoy this dish! Comment below and let me know how you like it!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Stay warm and stay smiling!

Brewery fun!

Oh my goodness! Yesterday was so much fun! All 8 of my friends and I squeezed ourselves into a car and went on a road trip to Charlottesville to visit 4 breweries! It was one of the Best Days EVER!

Our first stop was Castle Hill Cider! It was very nice the girl did a great job telling us about each tasting which to do the tasting was only $8 and we tasted 5 their brews. My favorite was Serendipity! The place was beautiful and they said that they held weddings there. It was beautiful I would totally get married there!

Our next stop was Blue Mountain Brewery! It wasn't what I expected when I think of breweries. what I think is kinda the museum feel...yeah no this was like a sports bar feel! We were all seated right away and we ordered "The Flight" which was a sampler of all their Lagers. $9 to sample 10! I could only do the first one! They got worse as you went on. We ordered some snacks there as well, I got the Buffalo chicken dip. I didn't like it... my friend makes a better Buffalo Chicken Dip. I tried someones pinch of Pretzel and you should totally get the pretzel and cheese if you visit!

Then it was on to my favorite stop of the day! Bold Rock! You get to see an sneak peek of the machines behind the scenes view. They had free tastings! My favorite was the Bold Rock Virginia draft! So Yummy! It doesn't bloat you at all! Beautiful scenery!

Our last stop was Devil's backbone. It was completely packed a few of us got a beer to taste and we all agreed Bold Rock was better and we left.

It's was a fantastic day! So if you are in the mood for a road trip, I would totally go visit those places!

Trust.... it takes years to build and seconds to break....

I feel like I am a good person but lately I have been questioning it. Meaning why be a good person? What does it really get you? I have been wondering with the actions of others how they are able to sleep at night which I then find myself not able to sleep because I am laying there thinking about it. I believe you treat people how you want them to treat you and I am teaching my students that as well but is that Old fashioned?

I feel like some people in the world are playing the game of Life like they are in the "Hunger Games" or something out to survive for themselves so it's alright for them to take from others whatever it is that they need at the moment to survive. Is that how life is suppose to be now? If so my class would be chaotic with each one of them taking blocks from one another....chairs out from underneath others....goodness I don't even want to try and think of what else that would cause. I wouldn't want any of that for any of the kids.

So what changes? When we become adults, is that when it's alright to take from others? I feel like excuses are made constantly and you, the good person, just have to deal with it because that just what you are suppose to do. You know if the actions were turned around and you were to do the same thing they wouldn't like it.... so why is it alright?

I understand the whole put yourself in their shoes....everyone has bad days here and there...but...one shouldn't constantly walk all over others right?

I feel like there has been no one to really trust, like one minute they are one your side and the next, well you just need to get over it because they are on their side of things.

Just my thoughts of the day. Feel free to comment below your thoughts!

I'm Sorry but I'm not Sorry

Hello! Good Afternoon! Oh....wait what? Who am I? I'm sure you are all wondering since it's been forever since I made a post.... I am so sorry!

Anyway, last night was an new adventure with Kris, our first time going Downtown together and we survived. I have to say though being older you know since the last time I went downtown I was 23.... 4 years later is a big difference. I people watched like crazy! I laughed so hard which I know is not very nice but it really kept me entertained and from falling asleep because let's be honest 10pm is bed time so I was quite proud to be coming home at 3am.

I did dance a lot but my feet started hurting and then my back and I was hot and creepers were all around.

Speaking of creepers, which this is going back to people watching and laughing at them dancing....Sorry... but I know we get so into the night and having fun and you are in your own little world and feeling confident and having fun but I just sat watching thinking... you know quite a few people had to be thinking they were like Michael Jackson on the dance floor....and really they didn't but every guy had to come up to the girls and start grinding up on them which is one of my biggest pet peeves... I can't stand that... I don't have that issue anymore since I'm with Kris but to me I love to dance so on my nights out that was really all I was there to do was dance...so don't come at me all bumping and grinding on me... Ask me to dance that would score you a brownie point right there...because lets be honest not many of them had rhythm so they would mess your zone up and you would then feel like a girl from the Night at the Roxbury! A lot of times I would stop and say BYE! to them and yes I was mean but I think it was mean to ruin my dance time with you grinding up on me....

Really, the creepers stood by the bar and just watched their prey and then swooped in for the kill with these geeky-not to the beat moves and then were like oh man she's crazy..... right......

So yes I watched and laughed.... loud

Also, beings that I went downtown of course the thing to do is take a bathroom selfie of your self so I did!

Hope you all enjoyed post hopefully it made you laugh a little.....took you down memory lane...or even made you smile because well I love to make people smile!
