Springy Manicure Monday

Good Morning! Happy Monday! It's Spring Break around here this week! For me that means not as mean kids will be at work today and I won't have Dance classes to teach at night. 

I bought some new nail colors to add to my collection! I love the Sally Hansen Nail colors and the polish always stays on my nails long!

1. "The blue" is called Royal Rage it is from the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear collection
2. "The pink" is called Hot Magenta it is also from the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear collection
3. " The grey" is called Grease Lighting it is from the Sally Hansen Insta-dri collection
4. "The Green" is called I-rush luck it is from the Sally Hansen Insta-dri collection
5. "The glitter green" is called Seanic it is from the Sally Hansen Triple Shine collection

I did my nails in the Hot Magenta I think this is an awesome color for Spring and Summer!

At The Bon Fire...

Hello! I had a wonderful weekend and I hope you did as well! Last night my boyfriend's family and I had a cookout to kick off the Summer festivities since it was so beautiful! I can't wait to do many more! 

We started off with making "The Brittany Concoction" which is a Pink Lemonade and Moscoto mix drink. It was very yummy! We sipped on that while the Hot Dogs and Hamburgers grilled! One of my favorite things about summer is cookouts! of course we started a little early I know it's not Summer yet....but having a Hot Dog and Pasta Salad is my favorite but last night it was Mac and Cheese! 

Ending the night with a Bon Fire was beautiful. The full moon was showing over the lake and well the fire didn't last long since the wind was blowing so much. It was all around a fun and beautiful experience!

Really... It's only Tuesday?

Hello everyone! Can you believe it's only Tuesday night..... I feeling like it should be Thursday night. I am very sleepy, had a pretty busy day. At work, we had our spring party where the class got to do an egg hunt and then eat some healthy and not so healthy treats.  It was fun! Although I was very surprised that none of the kids did I what I did when I was their age at the egg hunt!

 Let me explain and to do that we need to travel way back.....back.....more.....yeah keep going.....back....back.....back.... alright....no wait more.... okay perfect! Sorry got a little carried away.....anyway, so when I was in preschool ,the little blonde that I was, was wondering how and why all my friends were running past all these eggs I was finding  in my egg hunt well come to find out the girl I was following had a hole in her basket and I was just picking up all her eggs that were being dropped from her basket......

I wanted to share with you all that the Mark. Island Elegance Maxi Dress that I told you about in my What's Next? Post came in! It is so beautiful! It fits perfectly and for sure will be my new favorite! It has swirls of blues,greens,and golds in the high-low type of dress.

Sorry the picture isn't perfect my boyfriend took it for me and out of the 40 he took this was the best. I can't wait to wear this dress this summer!

Talk nerdy to me....

Hello! Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a wonderful day! It was a rainy one here.... Rain on a Monday...seems just not nice

How exciting! I received an overwhelming request to post a picture of myself in the outfit I talked about in my last blog post. Messages saying, " post a picture of you in your Superman shirt and maxi skirt." " the outfit sounds so cute I wanna see!"

Okay Okay Okay.... Here you go!

 Plus I wanted to share with you a funny moment I experienced while wearing this outfit!

Now at the time I didn't have my glasses on but I had got to the grocery store and two boys, I'd say about 16 or 17, were walking down the same aisle I was stopped on reading the back of the brownie mix box. Well one of them says, "Dude... look its a hot nerd." I didn't think anything of it... I mean they couldn't have been talking about me right? His friend says, " No... she is hot but I don't think she's a nerd." They walk closer to me and the first one says' " she is she's got lactose milk and all."  Yes ladies and gentlemen I did have lactose milk in my cart because I am lactose and tolerant to milk... at that moment I simply bowed my head and walked on then busted out laughing! 

I'm not sure how to really take that.... take it as a compliment for being a hot nerd or be upset I was called a nerd?! 

Either way it was so funny and it is a story I will be telling for a while!

Spring Styling Saturday

Hello! Hope everyone had a great week! We had some gorgeous weather here this week and I believe I wore a maxi skirt everyday! It was Fantastic! I also was able to catch a sale on the Wetseal website and ordered 9 outfits for $110. My boyfriend was very impressed with my thought process of the things I ordered and how cheap my total bill was! My cart was filled with Maxi dress and maxi skirts! 

I feel so comfortable in a maxi dress or skirt and right now I am liking that the skirts are hiding my white legs and are still breezy enough to where I was hot. I also love that you can dress them up or down. Like today I have on my Superman tee and a red maxi skirt. I feel super cute and comfy! I feel as if you can do so much with them to where it looks like you have a different outfit on each time even though it's the same skirt or dress. Just from adding a belt, wearing different color accessories, different shoes, different hair style, or adding a vest you get a different outfit. Plus adding the vests or short sleeve cardigans to the strapless dresses or spaghetti straps will cover the straps or lack of so you can wear that dress if you have a dress code to follow where you are wanting to wear the dress at. I have so much fun piecing together different things with each dress or skirt.

What's next?

Good morning! How are you today! I have to say being an Avon rep is terrible sometimes, I get so excited about my order of goodies coming in but once I open the box..... I start digging for the catalog that shows us what's coming out in the next Campaigns.....It has it's perks though I do get to get the next items before everyone can order them.




 Not only am I excited to see that Lucy Hale will be on the Cover of the next Mark Magalog for Campaign 10 and 11 but she is wearing a beautiful maxi dress that will be a great summer dress!!

I just ordered the dress and the first thing that came to my mind seeing it was, "OMG! I found a dress for my cruise!" Yes that's right this girl right here is going on a cruise in 242 days!!! Jamaica and the Bahamas HERE I COME!!!

My boyfriend and I are going with 3 other couples and I can't wait! I am trying not to talk about it too much since it is so far away. 

I have a lot of Maxi Dresses as it is now but you know you always want to buy something new for your trips and I know I won't save the dress for the trip because...well I want to wear it now and it hasn't even gotten her yet

I did get myself and the girls an outlet item from Avon the Mark Sunny Disposition Hat  I would love to have a picture taken of us from behind with our floppy hats on!

Here is another look at this beautiful dress coming soon! It will be featured in campaign 10 and we are just now starting campaign 9 so after 2 weeks pass you can start making your orders! Until then you will have to sit and drool over it just like me!

Walking on Sunshine!

Hello! Good Morning!!! I have to tell you all about my new sneakers! I ordered the Mark "Sneak Some Style" sneakers and I LOVE THEM! I wore them to work for two days and they never bothered me!
